Bruhn was a brother to me. He came to live with our family once he decided to get off the circuit. He wanted to work for NASA so I helped him get a position because I knew he could handle it. He and I worked side-by-side on the Ares Rocket doing flight test and evaluation. I received numerous emails today from my co-workers at Marshall space Flight Center asking about him. He's not been at NASA for a while; that's the impact he had. He was and always will be part of our family

I know lots of people will miss him but these two kids in the pictures are devastated. These are my kids and Steve Bruhn has been part of their whole lives.

The rider is Brien, the mud picture was his first race back from knee reconstruction. Steve was incredibly sick that day but still came to the races to be with Brien. Steve held Brien as a baby, the first week of his life. The bermshot picture was a private photo session Steve did with Brien. To have Steve Bruhn do a private photo session with you is something truly special. The beautiful girl with Steve is my daughter Lacie. The picture was taken at the company he worked for Christmas Party and she wanted a picture of her and Steve. She used to make Steve watch her ride her PW50 and 4-wheeler....long before the TFS days and way before his bought his first camera. . We love you , Pal.

TFS.... I wish you well on your latest transformation. Wishing you peace and light on your next journey. Thank you for speaking your truth and sharing your gifts. Motocross and Supercross are a better sport because of you. Thank you.

I picture moto heaven a beautiful place…. when Marcad and TFS are not bench racing, TFS is shooting Magoo on Factory Honda. Peace and light my moto brothers.

What a terrible day this day is. Rest in peace Steve. And thank you so much for all the laughter and knowledge you gave us on these moto boards. And a personal thank you for taking your own personal time in helping me with my diet and so forth. Always enjoyed reading what you had to say. Always enjoyed your pictures you put up for all of us to see. And always enjoyed just seeing you around and listening to what you had to say. I didn't know you near as good as a lot of people on here......but I know the planet is a lesser place without you in it. My condolences go out to all his family and friends. Rest in Peace Steve.

When someone leaves this life, you have to ask, Did they live on their own terms, chase their own dreams, live up to their own creed? In Steve's case, the answer is obvious. You bet he did. His was a life well-lived.

Godspeed, Teefus. We will miss you.

RIP my friend......you are and will always be missed.......

Words can't express how sad I am and how much I repected you for being your own man from leaving the airline industry to throwing yourself into motography as we called it...to NASA and beyond......YOU LIVED BY YOUR RULES AND DID THE THINGS AND HAD THE FUN OF TEN MEN!

I saved those goofy stickers all these years.......I sure never intended to use them like this...........

I don't know what to say except good bye my friend

Sad news. I had a lot of respect because he stood up for what he believed in and didn't back down.

I used to always hit him up for Monster Energy Drink whenever I saw him. He had cases of it in his bus. always gave me the lo-carb. Said the regular was bad for me. I am gonna miss him.
