Looks good, I would ride it often, BUT most of the trees are too close to the track for my true liking.

That place is so much fun to ride. I have a fear of trees from a previous run in with one but they don't seem that close when you are on the track. The helmet cam doesn't do that one section justice when you are 4th or 5th gear pinned.

That was effin awesome! Dude was hauling the mail too. Couple sections reminded me of old Southwick when there were still woods

years ago I used to ride and race there. was my favorite track back then!! The sand there feels like sugar when its dry and when its wet is almost like their is a slick clay in with it. By the end of a race day the bumps get pretty big and it gets really whooped out!! I see they changed it and added a good amount to it now.
I need to go back for a weekend visit.
Nice helmet cam vid!

If they dug some parts down just a little more it would have natural barriers like Lierop and the trees could stay close. I've always liked tracks that wind through the woods.

An inch is as good as a mile. Looks like a fun track.

Sand tracks should be rough.

It says the rider's name is Nathen Laporte. Is it just coincidence, or is he actually related to Danny?

No. Just a local fast guy. Has tried a few nationals, but no luck yet.

Track was brutal yesterday. Being fat and oldish I was ready to call it quits after my first moto of the day, but I'm glad I stuck to it and ran all four. Even got a 6th in 250B moto, which for a fat oldish man that's only been at it for 4 years, I feel was pretty good.

Cool track, not really anything like what you can find in Europe but sand neverless,

I'd like to see how it rides if they clawed it to loosen it up then left it to get rough and whoop out a bit, thanks for posting

That place is hard pack compared to Lommel or a dutch sand track. Looked fun but needs more 180 turns etc.

That Place SUCKS!!!!!! The reason I say that is I SUCK SO SUCK in sand !!!!!!!!! The fast guys make it look so fun and easy. I have practiced there and still suck !!!!!! So yes I am jealous I can't ride sand Smile Bring on Blue Groove hard pack for me LOL

The snow just finally melted off that track a few weeks ago also so that kid doesn't have a bunch of seat time either.

Wisconsin Rapids, Dyracuse Cycle Park run by the Rapid Angels Club. Sad part is since the opening they only run one motocross race a year there.
