Thanks, I'll be getting a similar plate and "kevlar cable" this tuesday (stuff moves slow here), you have the cable as well right? How long was your recovery?

I'm 33. This is my 3rd broken collarbone (you can still see the lump on the x-rays in the middle of the bone right next to the new break). However this last one is a more complex break, strongly considering the plate now. new Xrays on monday.

Great read, I bought a new 05 KXF back then, ridden about 5 hours on it and sold it. I hated that thing, went back to KTM SX125. and later bought a KTM SXF250 07 in late 06 which was miles better.

Agreed, that was awesome! The best race ever for me was Lierop 2012, where herlings lapped up to 2nd place, that was just nuts (does anyone have this in higher quality?): https://youtu.be/NXWJk0N8UbU

I think the main problem is the seal and wear on top of the cylinders indeed. I mean, how do they seal it? some kind of "piston"ring idea? EDIT, found it: WHAT ABOUT SEALS? The Duke sliding seal arrangement is analogous in function to a ported 2-stroke ... more »

Kid needs a KTM 125 at the very least, that Kawi has no mid-range at all... He was basicly revved out in 3rd gear waiting for the next corner... what the heck.
