who is the life off track judge? just b/c he made a few bad choices doesn't mean his life was off track. would you like that judgment passed on you by going through your records.

weed IS legal in some states so it's not that, that can be considered off track

who know what the eff knows what he was doing? Dudes life may have been very much on track. i.e. 20 something and not having to report to work, riding his dirt bike, having fun. who knows????? just b/c he quit racing professionally doesn't mean he and his life was off track!

dude is outdoors and is going to do well, not going to put him on some pedestal BUT he will be in there mixing it up!

What a bunch of Saints we have on here. How about we wait and see what he does at the races. If he comes in and does good it's just that much better for the sport. If he doesn't latch on, then good for him for giving it a shot and for the industry to step up and give him another chance. I'm not a fan either way but I don't hate the guy. People love him and people love to hate him, either way he gets more threads and pages than any other rider.

Must suck to have the life most people on here had. No partying, sex, or alcohol in your teenage to early twenties. What did you guys do? Go to work, come home, and sit on the couch? Jason seemed to enjoy riding his dirtbike. I would much rather see people out there having fun, partying, and hanging with the fans. Instead we get a bunch of robot personalities afraid to do things or say things that may offend a company or fans. Life is to short to be a Ryan Villopoto.

You're being sarcastic with your "work, home, couch" comment, but the reality is, you aren't far from the truth for most people.

And most people just go to work for the Kuerig coffee machine and to get away from their wives.

Well lump me in that category, Shit I was pushing the limits when I was twenty..........then the wheels flew right the fuck off. Paid the piper and now I own a nice business, 2 kids and all the other domesticated shit that pertains to life. If Jlaw wants change and vindication than it's really up to him. Best thing he can do is stay off the net and avoid the negative shit for brains trying to get in his head. Some of you have got him beat before the season even starts.

I think judges decide when your life is "off track" by sentencing you to jail time. Also wrecking a car into the pits might be considered "off track". "Life on track" begins by not being in the rat cage.

I think we all want to see a comeback story more than anything. A guy who made some bad decisions but was able to turn his life around and get back to racing at the top. Not many/any have done that that I'm aware of. I'll always hold out hope for these kinds of guys.

Lawrence was looking pretty solid yesterday out there. Sounds like he's been running some longer motos and is working his way into shape. He didn't see to be running at race pace yet, but definitely looked smooth.

If you are 40-ish, we may be living parellel lives (except I do not own a business, I am a level IV network engineer). I was about to list off all of the stupid things I did from the time I was 16-22. Short of using the super nasty drugs, I am pretty sure I did it all back then and luckily didn't have any accidental children at the time. I can honestly say that I am glad I did all of the stupid things I did, glad I did it when I was young and had nothing to lose, and I think (holy oxymoron) I am smarter today for the mistakes I have made. I have no doubt I will do everything I can to give my kids wisdom from my mistakes as they get older.

Hopefully Lawrence is in a similar boat. I would just be happy to see him on the gate of a national race and give it a shot. Just lining up will show that he has turned a page.

so you have inside info that his life needed to be turned around and be put "back on track" (whatever the fuck that means). He flipped a rental car outside the pits. If rawhiding a rental is "off track" nearly the whole pro motocross circuit for years have been off track. (pretty sure his intentions weren't to roll it). Wow! Let's see, as a young adult like many here, I did some stupid stuff. At that time, I know my life was "off track". Fortunately, circumstances helped me get back "on track". Kind of funny how the universe works that way. If you can't see that things may have been a little "off track", give it a few years, you'll figure it out. As for JLaw, I wish him well and hope he succeeds in his efforts. I just fail to see the fascination that certain segments of society have with so many of the "train wrecks" that reach celebrity status. This is a board related to MX, Jlaw hasn't done much related to MX for years, why do we need so many threads about JLaw. When he starts racing and getting results, then a little attention his way will be justified.

As an aside, If I turn the TV on in the morning and see one more cluster of reporters focusing on Lindsey Lohan entering a court room, I am liable to kick the TV. What is so fascinating about a probation violation hearing?

Thanks Bayo. Looks like he's running pro circuit and Showa suspension.. From what I remember he has been on FMF and KYB/Enzo since parting ways with the Rockstar Bills Pipes team..? Interesting to see a lot of changes in his program even with Scott still being his agent. I hope he keeps charging and is healthy for hangtown.
