Have a bunch of bikes go out and tear it up "MX style"........then throw a quad guy out there and see how he handles the rough stuff the bikes have created. In order for a quad to even come close to a bike.....the track has to be damn near a highway.
Take tracks like Washougal , Glen Helen , Budds Creek and so forth.......and put a quad out on one of those tracks after a bunch of MX pro riders get done with it/ Their laps times wouldn't even be in the same universe.
In fact......( and this goes out to anyone ).....please post a video of a "rough track" ( rough for bikes too! )........and watch how fast the quad guys go. Every video and what I have witnessed first hand is......the tracks look like pavement compared to what were used to. OF COURSE the quads will be fast on something like that. Get them on some real MX ground and see what happens.
1. You used to have to spend about $15,000+ to get it to a "race bike" level, to get it around an mx track as well as a $1500 used dirt bike.
2. You can't lean it into corners, up faces, or my personal favorite, 40 feet up in the air. If you can't lay your machine at unimaginable angles into a loamy rut, what the fuck are you doing out there man?
3. More weight. Bad on most women and things you would want to jump or ride. Where did common sense go?
4. Easier to begin on. This invites every pussy in the world to the track. No balance needed to get going. Zero commitment. I've taught 90 pound girlfriends to balance on a bike, but no way Jose for quadsters. Also, an electric start. Which is only cool on a KTM, because of it's number of wheels, a proper Dos.
