Racing GNCC and some other offroad events does it help him or hurt him?

Yeah. Normal people would say that blisters hurts. MX riders would just say it hardens them right?

Time for some new-skin.
I think it helps him which brings us to the age old question why don't more top motocrossers race offroad?

MX/SX is held on asphalt? When did they start that? lol..
Seriously though...I think it's probably because offroad doesn't pay nearly as much as MX/SX

Only time will tell if it was a good or bad choice but it's awesome to see him lining up!

also it may be a courtesy thing, every time a MX guy finishes top 3 in offroad he is taking a little bit of money out of the pockets of his racing brethren

Kevlar glove liners. Been wearing them for years. I got baby soft man model hands and never get blisters.

Holy crap. I've had blisters like that but it was long ago. Softer grips, better gloves, more comfortable bar bend, and just calming down (reduces arm pump as well)...but I still have to wonder how someone that rides/races as much as Zach could sustain that much damage. Those won't get well over night.

Go race a 3 hour gncc in Florida and find out. About 80 miles of sand whoops, Zach is a bad ass for enjoying all aspects of the e sport, very few riders in mx today could hang.

Now that you mention "sand"...I remember the last time I rode a 2 hour HS with a 6 mile dry river bed bomb run that stuff did eat up my hands and ass...it didn't do the bike any good either. Sand and sweat equal pain...I can't imagine 80 miles...wait, yes I can...there's pictures...lol.

I think every moto rider should do some woods racing. It teaches you alot of things that you dont see on an MX track.

I think they should have a series that encompasses multiple forms of motorcycle racing.... 2 SX events, 1 AX events, 3 MX events, 2 road course events, 2 GNCC events, 1 Endurocross events, and 1 supermoto event. That's a 12 race series. Drop a serious purse and you'd have something very interesting that would show who the best riders are overall.

If you did 1 of each event, you could do it during bike weeks at Daytona... add in the endurance factor of racing back to back to back days.
