That's not far from me, but i'm not sure I'd get out of it what is needed to fix. Seller assumes all it needs is top end work, if the piston came apart then the whole engine has to come down and be cleaned.

my buddy had a raptor 660 with a few aftermarket parts and i would just ride on it...didnt get a chance to see the look on his face because i was in front....but fastest bike that ive ever rode ....no doubt....the reason for the low price is its 2 stroke and it lost compression... so it needs new piston and rings....or a top end kit as they call it

Honesty's the best policy in my book.
I never knew piston and rings were considered a Top End Kit (as they call it)Laughing

No shit.

Those 21' and 19' rims have gotta make it hard to hold up on the starting line, too!

The frame looks like it was made from EMT pipe. Another customized part?

The hardwood floor nailer on the wall is worth more than the bike. Heck, probably more than what he's asking for the bike.

Is it just me or is the head missing and the top of the cylinder taped up? I also wonder if the silencer on the ground comes with it or if you have to pay extra! lol

"this is a bike that was built by a friend of mine that used to race amateur pro circuit at the georgia dome..... "

this explains the lost compression, when you build the top end with duct tape...

Take it easy guys... can't you see this is the actual bike that RD tested before switching to KTM? For that price, it's a steal. I'm calling out sick tomorrow just so I can drive up and get it before some other smart person beats me to it!

Not just you, I noticed the cylinder head missing too!

That was a good find on Craigslist!!!

Isnt it missing a small metal pipe that's usually in the engine area? If that bike just lost compression, i can run mine with no pipe!
