so we reward sonmeone for breaking the law all the while people work there asses off doing the right things to be rewarded with nothing. in actuality it works in the reverse. it does more damage to the do gooders than the hope that it gives to people that respect nothing. i agree they will be coming out of the woodwork. i have seen it first hand as I "was" a skatepark owner. it's a shame that they show up with different intentions than what you provide them with...

Do u really think its going to get them off the street? It's adding fuel to the fire in my eyes. They are like annoying little bugs that won't go away and all of the sudden someone throws some shit in the yard and more come out of the wood works

Dumb move by monster. Why the hell would you even acknowledge the wheelie boys.
And that's why you are not the head in charge at monster.

Got drunk? I knew about the unfortunate crash, but never heard that part about being drunk.

True.
But I see I'm not alone here.

You can't take the hood out of nobody. Pretty sure the conversation with his boys back home isn't a detailed plan on how to be legit.

Good for them! BajaMX paid them to come out to the Baja Brawl this year. I can honestly say they impressed the living hell out of me! Watching pros like Nick Wey loose their mind over what they were watching go down was priceless. It was the most ruthless/fearless yet in control wheelies I've ever seen! From 5th gear wide open, bike at least 80 degrees, one handed (while swerving side to side 3-4ft) to dragging the rear fender on the pavement a good 50ft while 4th-5th gear WFO. It was a mix of emotions at Baja that day, we were telling them they were absolutely nuts while they (after seeing there first ever MX track) couldn't understand why we were telling them they were crazy because we hit jumps the size of houses. If you ever get the chance to see them in person take advantage of it. Nothing like hearing a rev limited banging while moving under 5mph and just drop the clutch back tire drift a foot and a half sideways and knock the back fender off the ground (all while being 100% in control).

Yeah, pretty much the same way we rewarded skateboarders with breaking the law by eventually rolling them into things like oh the X Games.

All that's going to do is show little kids in those areas that they can get there too, by going out and wheeling in the streets. The problem with your guys theory is, in the areas they live in, there isn't much access to offroad / moto areas. That's part of the reason they've ended up in the streets & sensationalizing it, will only further promote riding in the streets.

Some of you that seem to forget where these guys get their bikes from are the same guys that scream "I hate thieves" every time some poor guys bike is stolen.

Personally I think it's ridiculous to give these criminals one second of mainstream exposure. A thief is a thief and should be treated as such, skill or no skill.

Skaters arent stealing $8000 off road motorcycles and riding them on the street. Skaters don't risk the lives of everyone around them.

STFU? Me? lol

Seriously? There is no stereotype. If that guy really is one of the wheelie boys then I need no proof. Do you honestly think that these guys would pay for a bike, then risk losing it every time they go and do their ridiculous shit? You are thick if you believe that.

It ain't rocket science. When Nicki Minaj is the the "best teacher of 2012" your marketing strategies from even 10 years ago are virtually moribund.

Using your "logic," TerryK, all of the street stunterz are riding stolen crotch rockets, too? Or is it just a dirt bike thing?
