The Smith Goggles thread got me thinking....

I wonder if the mods could pin this thread- please post here what moto stuff you recently bought that was Made in the USA, so that people can support their fellow American workers

For me, CDI torque wrenches (the craftsman were similar price but made in Taiwan)

Moose Offroad YZ250 topend gaskets

Wiseco RMZ450 piston (i think)

Got ya! But let us say non Chinese parts or bikes? Otherwise we are in big trouble. Hot Cams,Troy Lee. FMF, PC, Maybe Rocketpipe, Well used Ford 3500 van, Us motobuilder. Hinson, Enzo suspension, (Kyb from Japs) Why not support Us friendly Japan?(Honda) Their wawe messed them up real bad. Acerbis (Italy Natofriend.). Renthal and footpegs, radiator from UK, Breaklines. (Natofriend) Ignitionbox that never works proper from Aus. (no names but it is yellow and have 10 maps absolute will break down) Nato too. And of course our buddy Motohoosedude...So at least some of the parts is from genuine Us craftmanship? Bought in a genuin Us raceshop Escondido Cycle Center And me and friends also see SX travel with american airlines that makes you even crazier. Drinking your useless Bud beer but a man got to do what a man............etc etc.Laughing

Bel Ray

Maxima

PJ1

Pivot Works ??? (not sure where they source their bearings)

All Balls ??? (company in PA but possibly sourced from China)

Hammerhead

Works Connection

Cycra Plastics

Wiseco (pistons, their cranks are notoriously Chinese)

JE pistons

CP-Carrillo rods and pistons

Yoshimura, believe it or not I think most of their stuff is made in Cali.

Boyesen, made in Pennsylvania

Motion Pro (most of their stuff is USA made I think)

Arai and Shoei are famously hand made in Japan and great products

Gaerne is one of the last hold outs to still make their boots in Italy and it shows.

Sad nobody said the same back in the days when Montesa, Ossa and Bultaco were dominating the dirt bike market.

exceldyne valve trains is probably the most technologically advanced American Made product. They allow tours if youre ever in Thomasville, NC, and is really cool to check out.

I believe they are the only american made valve train assembly except for the Faction valves, and I wont get into saying whats junk and stuff... Whistling

SCOTT USA Goggles are made in-house at their warehouse in Utah.

After reading the list it seems it would be easier choosing something made in the US and Europe than it would be not too.
