At the Steel City national the track announcer said there is a strong rumor of them starting a factory team for next season. Anyone got any information on it, it would be nice to see them get involved over here.

Considering their factory effort has gone under in the GP's, I highly doubt it

They were able to cut down on some overhead by fielding a small bore two stroke effort. I heard that they were able to pull One Punch back to the bigs from the rap game for the inaugural CR125 reunion tour, should be exciting.

What I have seen...

They're making an effort in Off-Road and are developing a new bike...2014?

this is what I understand. They had a goal of getting a supercross team for 2013, but they're dealing with the same things others are. problems with budget ands development has put them a bit behind.

I heard from a good source that there might be a Husky AX team too.

They have had alot of success in 2012 in the GNCC series in the XC2 Pro Lites (same as the 250/lites class in mx). I would like to ride one first, but the price sure is an attention getter these days.

KTM blew up in the offroad world before their recent assault on MX in the states. It would be great to see husky get back into the mix, IMO.

You either dont ride or have not ridden one...

The 2012 CR125 that I bought my son this year is a great bike and rips for a stock 125, it also comes with a full 144 kit at no additional charge. I have enjoyed pounding out some motos on his bike as well, the bike runs great, the suspension is good and handling is better than many.

Anyone who doesn't consider this a stellar looking machine just isn't a motocrosser.

They are tough as nails, I've been on a Wr300 with Ohlins front/rear for about 6 months. 40 hard hours on the bike, no problems at all. Love it. They have a few quirks but reliability is not one of em.

Actually, with that gaping hole in the middle it looks like shoddy engineering to me, like the antithesis to Honda's mass-centralization campaign.

The KTM & Yamaha don't have the same engine placement?

Jepp! And still do. For serius racers or fast weekend warriors Husky and KTMs will break and ruin the owner. On high level and lot of money you can win on any bike.............not husky. Maybe in the forrest where you have to slow down for trees. I have for sure owned Huskys and they where pretty good when made in Sweden. Now it's Italian and they like design. Not function. And you can never trust them helping you if you got problems. Promises to Teams never get forfilled. Thats written in stone since many years. Ask M Lieb? Just one in the latest in the looong line of riders screwed in the rear by them.

Funny how it's the fat bitches that worry most about how clothes make them look.

Exactly, but it is too expensive to completely redesign the engine. Then you miss the point of a simple inexpensive bike.

There is perhaps nothing wrong with their twostrokes, but their fourstrokes are crap.

They are too slow std, and will breakdown if you try to make them faster. Not even the boke Lupino rode seems that fast.
They also seems to have a reputation of promising more than they can deliver to teams/riders both worldwide and on a national level. So perhaps not only bad bikes, but bad people in charge...

Do you see a huge gaping hole like that on a YZ125? No, you don't. That's because they actually put some thought into it instead of just stuffing a 125 engine in a 4-stroke chassis and ending up with a bunch of extra space and calling it a day. They could have at least tried to lower the tank and radiators a bit.

You won't have to worry about fuel boiling with all the open air!

1st and 3rd place in the XC2 class at the Unadilla GNCC this weekend. Both 250cc four strokes I believe.

Man that gap above the engine is unreal. Imagine working on a bike like this, changing piston or cleaning the carb would not take any longer than cleaning the airfilter. I wonder how they handle...

If the rear fender stays in that position for more than 4 hours, you may need to consult a doctor . . .

A 1970 Husqvarna 250 Cross was my first real motorcycle. I thought Torsten Hallman was the GOAT (of his day). I still have a soft spot for Husky's. I hope BMW helps return them to prominence (although I doubt it, sorry). They seem to be able to put together a nice machine. Seems like, from what I know, even some of the best (and if these guys can't, I don't know who could) can't seem to get horsepower out of that motor. I'm personally looking forward to the Direct Injection 350 two stroke.
