I know a lot of people say they were plain and boring, but I always liked the "clean" look of the factory YZ's.

I know it's a GP bike, but what about Evert's 2000 YZ500F - hand built aluminium frame?

I was a big fan of the Euro white OW's back in the 70's before USA Yamaha stopped the yellow bikes, but confess I liked the yellow 06 special editions a lot.

Yeah the Euro white works ones looked so cool. Probably because we didn't have them. Then in the 80s when Yam went white with production bikes it was like ok not so cool anymore.

I agree. I liked DV's bike as well. One day I am going to find one and put A-kit or yamaha's SSS suspension on it. I really liked my 07 aluminum frame bike until I got on an RM250.

I've always considered the 1983 works bikes to be the best looking Yamaha factory bikes by a long shot.
