A lot of speculation and "Debbie downer" type stuff in this thread.....sheeesh.

Hanny had some really good results in SX. I can't see him just sitting on the side lines.....and there is plenty of time to get something lined out for next season. Kind of bums me out a little , as I thought him and H&H made a good team. I can't see him getting fired over something as silly as the Zwarte ( spelling? ) race......but I don't know all the details. Hopefully he didn't do something stupid.

I really have no inside info, but who ever posted about an energy drink sponsor might be on to something. Hanny is Monster, and if a different one is sponsoring the team that may have been it. He's no JS or RC, so he wouldn't have the pull to have a separate sponsor.

I was at this race.. Girlfriend's mum lives 3 miles away from Qualcomm... it was deserted & I remember Pastrana looking super sketchy in his race. And RC going WAAYYY too high...

I've never been much of a Hansen fan - I don't like his image or attitude. The guy has skills, though, and I respect him for that. I'm surprised he is leaving H&H, but he'll land on his feet.

It's pretty obvious those photos aren't fake. yam261 had to have been joking........right?

I don't remember Hansen riding a Suzuki either. Was Jayco a sponsor of the Suzuki City team, or was it a separate team altogether?

I don't think it was the Suzuki City team... Suzuki had a Lites team for each coast that year I believe. Suzuki City was East and some other team with Mike Lapaglia and maybe Cole Seely, Blose and Brady Sheren was West... Fun Center Suzuki? I think it was Hanny's 3rd brand that year.
