Wonder which layer of Hell that thing rode out of? No silencer- to get the full effect when you open it up going down your street.

People do love the dunes. At least the Banshee have two wheels up front.

Are those forks on backwards?

Why is there a slick on the front? Maybe it's for dirt drags.

One track I go to has dirt drags. Nothing like local yahoos drag racing street bikes up and down the pits all day.

No. Many of the 3 wheelers had trailing axle forks instead of a leading axle setup like most bikes did. That being said I do not know why they were that way. Anyone know what the reason behind the trailing axle was?

only guess is that they were trying to reduce flex as much as possible, leading axle forks seems like they would flex more than trailing axle

I'm selling my 450 tomorrow and buying this thing. Can you imagine the amount of chicks I could pull in with that machine?

Side note : it would make a great pit bike , driving up to the sign up tower in the morning to turn my paperwork in before the races. Sure it wouldn't bug anyone......if I make it.

it's for the dunes, They drag race up Olds Hill in Glamis, banshee based quads still own everything but it's still cool to see a fast 3 wheeler, That is if you were born in the late 60s or 70s

Nothing is more out of place on a 500 2-stroke than a front brake. Good to see this guy tossed his behind the shed. Blink

that thing's a BEAUTY

we had one just like that when i was 16, i wish i had some photo's to post, it was a work of art. it was the definition of scary fast.

she had a huge drag DG chrome pipe, extended swing arm, and tons of goodies. man that thing was a blast to ride.

and we didn't use those gay foot guards like the quad riders use now, if you didn't run that thing up your leg at least once in 10 minutes you were a pussy.

I bet he rode it into the bed of his truck and forgot there is no front brake.
