qualifying for the moto's is a fucking achievement, claiming 36th sucks proves you never been on a dirtbike.
All 40 riders that line up behind the gate are tough and determined. Please, put yourself on a dirtbike and go try to qualify, then come back and tell us how it went and how easy it was.
How can u even say sutch things about those riders? Some of them put their last dime into the sport. They get up early everyday and go to work, just to be able to pay for the trip and parts, just to do a few laps around the track. Just so they can hopefully try to put in a good lap. And if they are a bit lucky and can overcome the disadvantages they endure from the competition, they might get a chance to do the 2moto race and battle for eatch spot. It's the reason they are there, they don't gain ANYTHING from it. Hell, they even lose money by doing it!
They might not have the money, the raw talent or have the right people behind them to make it easyer, like most of the front runners. But they still got the heart to go out and try. How the hell can you disrespect those guys?!
Badass!
Seriously bro, who the fuck would even argue with these clowns hating on Ricky?
I am kind of bummed John Dowd and Mike Brown got national television coverage for being old in the 450 class, and this 125cc Renner story did not. To me, all three are equally impressive. Renner deserved some TV time.
Pit Row
Pretty sure this bunch wouldn't be so fired up if he finished mid-pack on a fartcycle.
renner just happened to beat 44 250f's today in qualifying
he finished 34th overall
on a bike that didnt' cost half as much as some other privateer's
he's is the epitome of underdog, riding a bike with half the cc's
being a part time pro
limited funds
but one thing he does have, is balls the size of watermelons for doing what he did today, i just wish i was there to cheer him on in person
So just getting a gate out there and being top 40 today is a huge deal and hurdle.
what makes it sweet is that it was done on a 125.
very nice.
Post a reply to: Sounds like the 125 made it
