Sweet Jesus you do some nice rebuilds Pete. I'm not a Suzuki fan but I still think your old school RM is the best I've seen.

yup it is a untagged scalvini from last year the new ones are different, this one is just for show i got a stk pipe on it now and got a- sold to the public-, scalvini comming

Insiders are telling me the engine is gonna be upside down this year, Yamaha is trying everything.

The gas is held in the handlebars and the radiators are tucked inside the wheel hubs.

And, there are new stickers.

we use to make fun of the yz490 adds. everyone of those adds said very fast! as a cr500 rider disc brakes water cooled better everything we just laughed at the outdated (even for the time 88 i believe) drum brake air cool jamaha and the fools that thought it was fast!!! Hopefully Yamaha comes out with something cool but i doubt it .

At least they admit the two stroke is cheaper to maintain.

As a long time yamaha rider. This to me is a disappointment. I was really hoping for something new. Maybe its time to ride something else.

I will be holding my breath to see if Suzuki has a white fender when they introduce the 2013 models. Kawi, Honda, and now Yamaha are all on board.
Don't forget Austria, too (in 2012).

I thought it looked nice and clean on the Honda, not so much on the KTM and then Kawi. But on the Yamaha - they actually found a way to make the ugliest bike in the history of motorsport just a notch uglier. The white fender ties into absolutely nothing, and serves no purpose other than to add more confusion to an already disjointed appearance.
