All the talk about TLD and or other teams that he could ride for are funny as the politics in this industry are just stupid! He has NOT spoken to any of them and the rumor mill is a riot to hear sometimes....
He will be riding HIS own bike out of the back of the Eleven 10 box truck (they supply his motors and are hauling his bike) with a Rocket Exhaust (his fathers company) and a few other personal sponsors that have helped him along. His goal is to be fighting up in the front and show his speed to many of the doubters.
I think the Dixon option and living in England will be far easier than the last time he raced GPs.
or how about this one, Tyla Rattray to factory Kawasaki...
Here's another, Ivan Tedesco to Pro Circuit Kawasaki?
Stupid industry politics, what do they know? "STOP the rumors"
How's this... Really like to see Michael Leib to TLD
or 22 MotorSports/Bel-Ray or?
Pit Row
it'd be cool to see him race some british championship rounds aswel as gp's- some awesome tracks on the calendar this year- desertmartin and hawkstone park are fantastic tracks!
As a few of us said last year, he will enjoy his time over here SO much more if he bases himself in the UK and of course, he'll be on a very competitive bike.
I can understand that in his mind racing in America is still his priority and it might seem as though he has a huge, possibly career defining decision to make right now. But Michael seems like a really good bloke and for what its worth he stands to gain a whole lot of British (and European) fans if he decides to take SD up on his offer, just as Zach has done since he's been over here.
The 2012 Outdoor Lites class looks set to be one of the most competitive series in years. Im not suggesting Michael can't compete, but he won't necessarily have the machinery to match his talent and could end the year frustrated. One thing is for sure, he has a really good opportunity of achieving some fantastic results in the MX2 class and this may stand him in better stead for the future.
Whatever he chooses to do I wish him all the best!
