That was awesome, I didn't get to watch the race last night and hadn't checked the results. I was nervous just watching it when there was 5 laps to go.
I thought that was a pretty big statement with the list of people that came over to congratulate him.

I don't think anybody deserved to win one more than Short.

I was pretty happy to see him win. I laughed when Emig was talking about his wife Jackie at home needing a manicure after the race. I was praying also that he didn't make a mistake on the last lap and blow his chance. I hope he is still hungover today from it! Congrats Andrew, you definately deserve this win!

Happiest I've been after seeing someone win their first race since Dubach did it.

There was a hate thread on here recently why Short gets offers to ride factory and they have never won. I hope this shuts them up.

I was so pumped for him. He's been so close so many times. He's the most consistent guy who hasn't won a championship. Some guys would have an awesome race to win and then a 10th, but he's always been consistently top 5. Never did grab that win though. This might be the most excited I've ever been about a 1st time winner. Congrats Shorty.

It was sweet. Good to see a guy that everyone respects finally make it to the top of the box.

So happy for Shorty, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. He seems genuine and does not have that "I'm better than you cuz I'm a Pro" attitude that some have.

Matter of fact when I asked the question on how to fix the cheapo patella cup problem on CTI’s he was more than willing to help me out with his way of mounting two. Not often you get advise from a Factory Racer on a msg board….
Also thought it was pretty funny when I had seen in a mag somewhere that Jackie ordered pink ones for him and it showed a pic of him strapping them on. Those two make a great couple/team and that’s what it’s all about to me.

I must admit to being a little torn between Roczen and him though for a few laps as I was pulling for the 350 to win after so many idiots on here said the bike was a POS and they should shit-can the idea.

I’ve never ridden one—so can’t say from experience, all I know is KTM makes so many different models for so many different applications/riders how can you not applaud that effort instead of playing copycat like the Big Four do?

But then I remembered how many fools on here had written off Shorty as well, so I switched back to Andrew mid-race and was more than happy with the results.

Way to go Shorty, that more than made up for the blatant takeout at the MotoD I bet!
