He was almost crying in this interview. I don't think it was because he lost, but because he was disappointed in himself for how he acted (and probably got a stern talking to)

You can see Roczen duck after he finished, just after 2:10

Why would he be disappointed in how he acted? thats how he always acts so its normal for him, hehe

Yeah, what could be worse than showing some emotion. Whistling I'm still a fan. I don't think that was a very classy move on his part roosting Vincent, but why race a guy that's lapping you? Especially the leader on the last lap, get out of the way!! I'm sure he will learn from it, and handle the situation better next time.

Barcia crying like a spoilt kid ,and roosting guys and payback is becoming common to him,his actions at Bercy were awful,if he did that at an AMA SX there would be an outrage, his team should have pulled him into line by now really

DQ? No. It was definitely unsportsmanlike, and I've heard there will be a fine that leaves a sting. Haven't heard a dollar amount yet.

Showing some emotion..... And crying cos you realised that you are an idiot is only further proving to everyone that this is actually the case. Should have just sacked up and lived with it. Not burst out in tears.

@ Jemcee, I thought Millsaps line through the same section looked more impressive than even Villo's line.

Unclassy if its true , what if he told them his clutch got damaged and it kept releasing harshly or his hand slipped and caused him to roost people , i realize excuses only satisfy the ones giving them but he is a top rider and they do recieve special treatment .

Haven't seen it or read all the way through the thread but..................................

If a rider, ANY rider, intentionally roosts a downed competitor while being looked at by the medical team he should be suspended for at least one race.

Something that would get his attention and deter him in the future.

Early word is that Barcia has been fined by the AMA for his post race "activities"

Yeah, fines are worthless because cause like that are loaded. Culling points is the only punishment they can't buy their way out of.

There is only one answer for this! They need to call Roger Goodell, of the NFL to handle this. He did a number on the Saints so this should be an easy one for him!

I'm so tired of the whole they're kids thing. When I was 17 at my job, and I pulled some of the whiny ass shit Barcia and Bogle have done this year Id be fired. If I threw dirt on a downed athlete on say my high school baseball team I'd have been cut. Why do they deserve a pass because they race motocross. He made himself crash. If you can't take causing yourself to lose maybe you should take your ball and go home.

I'm just guessing but he probably won thousands of dollars tonight so why would he care about 500 or even 1000 dollars. In my opinion they should take all of his event winnings as a fine. Forget docking points he's got it locked up anyways, that wouldn't even hurt him.
I agree, they are professionals. They don't deserve to be there if they can't be professional.

I agree that he needs a real punishment like sitting out races or points instead of a fine, if for no other reason than to deter this from happening again. Roosting another rider is childish, but it happens, and I don't expect it to stop. Roosting the medical crew in addition to that is uncalled for, and I don't think we need our sport turning into a circus if this kind of activity goes unchecked.

What you saw is a result of the spoiled brat training facility that he grew up at.

There is this high school "in crowd" mentality where they can do whatever they want to anybody because they are for some unknown reason better than they are, but god forbid anyone stands up to them and they will whine like a little girl.

When you DQ him, you penalize his team. That's wrong. It's not the team's fault he lost his temper, which was doubly annoying because the wreck was his own fault. It's only my opinion, but keep in mind that teams are made up of a lot of people who work real hard to win titles - you take 25 points from him, and you penalize everyone from the truck driver to Mike Larocco.

Too bad. he's part of the team. If they can't keep him in check, how can the AMA?
I agree with SMF

Barcia has been a little ass since his first AMA supercross, and no one has ever put the kid in check. The AMA is suppose to run the riders, not the other way around. As far as penalizing the team, they have had plenty of time to get this kid under control. They to are partly responsible for what Barcia is today.

The kid is an amazing talent, but he needs to be put in his place. Roosting KR is just being a spoiled little ass, but roosting the Asterisk Medical Crew while they are attending a down rider is totally unacceptable.

I don't think we need to see the incident in question, since just about everybody at the stadium reported it.... and there is video of him roosting Roczen already, that has been posted in other threads here.
