About Me
I have lived in central NY my whole life. I don't get around much. I have never been to Niagra Falls or NYC. I have a wife and four boys. Three of which ride. I have had a steady jod now four 20yrs working at a air conditioning manufactory.. I have loved this sport of motocross since I was 8 yrs old. My first bike was a 1980 Yamaha mx80. I did not have the type of childhood where I was able to live my dream of the life as a motocross racer.. I have always rode the trails and woods never been on a real motocross track until I was 26yrs old.. My first real bike was 1976 Suzuki rm125. I rode that bike everywhere.. Then in 1997 I bought a 1990 Honda CR500. Frozen Ocean was my first track I rode.

insane one Started a new thread 04 Honda CR250

My son has a 2004 Honda cr250. the bore and stroke is the same as a 2005-2007 Honda CR250. They say the power curve on the 2005-07 CR250 is better. I would like to know if I can swap out the 04 cylinder to and 05-07 cylinder. Will it bolt on the 04 cases? ThanksSmile

I don't know I think it all comes down to training and muscle strength. The pro mx riders train much harder and lets face it the top level pro motocrosser is in better shape than a top level ball player. That has been proven!! You won't be sorry. I am trying to get Greg Foster and AJ Waggoner to rent a track somewhere to allow riders to have a free ride on their CR/KX250AF and CR/KX500AF's. AJ is the Cofounder of the CR/KX500AF. I'm sure you new that. But hey I sent you the PM.

Is mx 573 still open? Last I new it was forsale. If the top guys in this sport were to rev out the CR500. They would definatly blow through the corners and over jump every jump on the track.!! Lets do this you put your 450 in any gear then I'll put my CR500AF in the same gear. Rev them...
