Magura Jack Hydraulic Clutch Lever

Edited Date/Time 4/30/2012 6:07pm
I have a Magura Jack Hydraulic Clutch on my 2003 CR250 and would like to get a folding lever. I can't find a clear answer, but I think if I order a folding clutch lever that fits a 2003 KTM 250SX it would fit. Anyone have any experience? Thanks

Decide on a lever brand and contact them , then contact magura to make sure.

I also have one. I am petty sure they do make one for it. I wanted one for mine. That was until it fried my clutch.. Yup, the clutch would not release so it fried my plates.. I kinda feel as if I waisted my money on it. My regular cable clutch seems to be more reliable.

I tried to help ya. I was unable to find a folding lever for the system. Yes I understood your question. So I guess I am glad I switched back to my trusty cable clutch.

I was only trying to be nice by informing you of the bad luck I had with the Magura clutch.. I liked it when it was working. It went bad after the first cleaning when I tried to rebleed it. It is tricky to bleed. By no means was I trying to tell you what to do with yours.. GEEZ what is with everyone today .?

I got a ARC lever for the 2003 KTM 250SX and it fit perfectly.

As for bleeding the system, I always back bleed it with a syringe and clear tubing I got at a hardware store for a couple bucks and I use Honda 5wt fork oil instead of the way over priced Magura blood.

With the hydro clutch and stock clutch springs, my clutch pull is always the envy of my riding buddies.

Yup I did the same thing.. What happened with mine is the stainless steel spoke nipple stripped off of the pull rod. Must be my CR500 springs were to stiff to pull..

Did you send it back to Magura? I broke the hinge clamp, master cylinder side and sent it to them and they just gave me a whole new kit.
