Excuses are like assholes, everybody has them. I like Barcia and yes he is a kid. But so are 95% of all the other riders in his class and most don't act the way he does (accept for save, his teammate). ML needs to get his kids in line. Again, I'm a Barcia fan too, but that's bullshit from him.

Barcia had the race won by a mile, and he blew it about 1/2 a lap from the end. I'm not surprised he was mad. And as far as roosting Roczen, I doubt Roczen gave a crap. If he went over and jawed at Vincent (which I didn't see) or roosted him is pretty stupid, particularly because, as I saw it, Barcia jumped right across Vincent's front end. But a DQ? That's silly. Fine him $10K or something that he'll remember and leave it at that.

When you DQ him, you penalize his team. That's wrong. It's not the team's fault he lost his temper, which was doubly annoying because the wreck was his own fault. It's only my opinion, but keep in mind that teams are made up of a lot of people who work real hard to win titles - you take 25 points from him, and you penalize everyone from the truck driver to Mike Larocco.

Too bad. he's part of the team. If they can't keep him in check, how can the AMA?

He did roost Roczen who seemed like he thought it was funny. I think he actually gave Barcia the thumbs up! I got a laugh out of it!

If he really roosted a downed rider, I'm officially a Barcia-hater...

They should tie him up then let the Asterisk guys go over ther and throw rocks at him as hard as they can and see how he likes it, either that or tell him to fuck off next time he visits the truck.

Totally unacceptable

Make the fine big enough so he'll remember it. And I'll bet he'll watch the video, realize he didn't give Vincent enough room to ride, and he'll probably apologize. Character isn't proven in being perfect, it's proven when you've screwed up and need to make ammends.

I didn't see it but if it was as bad as it sounds I'm sure his team manager and/or trainer will straighten him out.

With all the shit Barcia has done.. I think the AMA should allow J-Law to race again.. If anyone can put Barcia in his place it would be J-Law or Villipoto. I hope Honda loses him next year cause they do not have to be dragged in the mud because of Barcia..

Unfortunately, I dont think that it is the AMA that is stopping J-Law from racing.

I'm so tired of the whole they're kids thing. When I was 17 at my job, and I pulled some of the whiny ass shit Barcia and Bogle have done this year Id be fired. If I threw dirt on a downed athlete on say my high school baseball team I'd have been cut. Why do they deserve a pass because they race motocross. He made himself crash. If you can't take causing yourself to lose maybe you should take your ball and go home.

I'm just guessing but he probably won thousands of dollars tonight so why would he care about 500 or even 1000 dollars. In my opinion they should take all of his event winnings as a fine. Forget docking points he's got it locked up anyways, that wouldn't even hurt him.

I watched it in disbelief...when he spun it around, juiced it and sprayed Vincent and the track crew...the guy turned and looked, like "WTF? did that just happen?"

5oo is a joke to him. 10k on the other hand, has some sting in it :-)

Yeah I see where you're coming from but you can't use that as an excuse. Yes, a lot of people on the team may inadvertently end up on the receiving end of a riders poor behaviour but that's just too bad. It's the same when a criminal is sent to jail - his or her own family will undoubtedly bare some of the brunt too (an extreme example I know). Unfortunately these are all necessary factors in encouraging people to obey the rules.

Just to be fair, I'm not talking about the JB incident last night at all. I haven't yet seen it.
I'm just quoting the principle of your argument.

I like his will to "WIN"! How many racers are content to be back markers as long as they make the big show? Roosting Roczen, funny. Roosting the downed, Vincent, uncalled for. Even if Vincent was a back marker and was shown the big blue flag with the yellow stripe, that means the leaders are coming through, "GET OUT OF THE DAMN WAY"!

Fine. Ok, they did something.

He was almost crying in this interview. I don't think it was because he lost, but because he was disappointed in himself for how he acted (and probably got a stern talking to)

You can see Roczen duck after he finished, just after 2:10
