Apparently that's not much to brag about when after having done it you get your ass handed to you in a "regional" series.

By the way, I'm picking on your statement more than I'm picking on KROC! :p I expect a couple US championships will be added to his list of achievements...soon.
lets see how close durham is to him in the outdoors Laughing

he's hardly been 'getting his ass handed to him' he was leading the race (and looking very good) before making a mistake, and has been on the box a few times this year (2nd at one round) its not like he's miles off the pace riding round at the back.

The other night moved his ass right to the top. Roczen is ten times the rider DD wishes he could ever be.
Perhaps you have forgotten DD running Roczen down and passing him for the podium at Daytona?
Perhaps you saw the heat race in Indy?
Perhaps you have taken a gander at the points standings?

Just because he was on your list, and you hope he never succeeds doesn't mean you need to bitch about it and proclaim how much better your guy is then him. Especially when more often then not he's beaten him when they have been on the same gate. I don't think Barcia is ten times the rider Darryn is (JB is better), so why would a dude he's beating be ten times the rider?

Maybe you should take your fan boy pants off and get with reality bro...

Its pathetic- every thread about any none american rider always degenerates to the same pissing match- same as any RC or everts thread always ends up the same way.

Durhams exceeded everyones expectations this year, to call him mitch's 'c' rider is pretty disrespectful when he's beating baggett in the championship.

So the claim to fame for the world champ is that he got second once and then busted his ass while leading a regional race?

You guys with your American vs. Euro shit cracks me up.

Truth time.... Roczen isn't God's gift to moto(yet) and Durham ain't no Roczen(yet)!

Just 2 bad ass dudes on dirtbikes and one(Kroc) has more street cred then the other.

End transmission.

It cracks me up really.. All of these guys are killing it in reality, but because one has a "list of accomplishments" makes him king of the world.. No disrespect to Kroc, he's a bad bad young dude and will do very will throughout the next few years, but to disrespect DD because he hasn't won a world championship is out of line. I'm from the same area as durham and I watched him bust his ass growing up to get to where he's at.

And as far as outdoors goes, anyone remember Moto 1 at High Point this year? The kid has the speed, he had that moto in the bag had his fitness been there, and I trust that it will be there with the crew he's got behind him now, say what you want to say about DD vs. Roczen, but they are both here to stay and it won't be the last battle between the two.

The pic doesnt show where they ended up though does it, and anyway the pass alone probably didn't rile Roczen.

I hope so too, especially a guy that was billed as the second coming of the GOAT.

Are you serious? What are you, 12 years old?

I'am sure both DD and KR have forgot about it by now.

Niether of them did anything wrong lol. People are going to insult Durham for the nac nac? Amazing. That was celebration, not an "in your face" move. DD likes to have fun when riding, something you don't see a lot of from other riders these days.

well, they both ended up on the track, and neither of them went down.. so it can't be all bad.

I like both of them a lot and I thought that heat was awesome. Psyched for Durham but liked the roost from KR as well haha

funny that some of you guys think it was disrespectful for durham to do a nac-nac after a well earned heat race win.

do any of you guys have a clue what it feels like to win a race? now imagine a heat race on the upper level of supercross racing.

both of those guys have style on a bike and personality for days. i'm sure they are losing less sleep than some of the blowhards in here.

Looked like Roczen was pissed before the Nac Nac to me. If you watch the corner before the finish line. Roczen went for a hard inside turn which looked to me like he was going for a hard pass.

Who cares anyway. It's all part of the show.

Im sure you think KR's crash was just "bad luck", as he called it, as well. No rider error there.

Have you ever ridden a hard pack track with a layer of loose dirt on top? All it takes is the bike in front to spread some gravel/marbles onto the racing line and you're fucked.
So it's the track's fault now?

Truth is if I was Durham and I won my first heat I'd be so happy I would pull a pastrana and backflip if I was able to. So the nac nac was awesome IMO. Others in here would've done the same after their first win.

However if I was Roczen I would be just as mad as it appeared he was too. Both riders did nothing wrong and they just let their emotions get the better of them for a second.

This reminded me of the Bogle slap heard around the forum lol. Nothing but some true emotion shown by two great riders who will no doubt go on to be sucessful if they stay after it.

Like someone else mentioned they probably forgot about the whole thing by now.

Great racing (and a great pic) either way you look at it. The one thing I couldn't have predicted last year would be Durham being at the same level as Roczen, at least in supercross, and battling with him for podiums.

DD's my favorite rider for sure, and that was an awesome little heat race battle. I may have clapped to my T.V.
