Bad Ass Bike. Even if it doesn't come with parts you would expect a "Factory Edition" name.

I do believe that this is one bike where you CAN get all the Factory Parts.

You are getting a limited production (for this year) bike with a totally new chassis and a totally new engine, what more should it come with? And remember, they are not selling this bike for US, they are selling this bike so Dungey can race it this SX season.

If you're getting something called "Factory Edition", I'd hope for at least the Akrapovic Exhaust, a tuner & maybe some anodized hubs. This (although a very cool bike), looks like an early 2013 model.

Well, that IS what it is. I'll say it again, the only reason this bike is being sold is so Dungey can race it, not so we as consumers can get something we think is representative of what a "Factory Edition" should be.

We already knew it. Decoster did an interview sometime back where he said it was purely a "Marketing Decision" to call it Factory Edition, so we knew the name didn't have anything to do with what components would come on it. But, would be cool if they threw a couple trick parts on it to set it apart from what will basically be the 2013 model.

I would love to have one. But I am 6'3 and if Dungey looks big on the bike, I will look like a bear riding a tricycle.

wwwwooowww!

Within 2-5 years 450's are going to be over $10,000 I bet. I'm not trying to hijack your thread because I think the bike is cool, but how can the oem's wonder why sales are low with MSRP like these? But the kicker is i'm sure they will sell every single one of these factory edition bikes.

They need to sell 398 more of them by this Friday at 5pm, or Dungey wont be allowed to race it on Saturday.Whistling

Dungey seems like a lanky kid. He's got to be 5'11"-6'. I feel yeah though, I'm 6'2". Guys like us look big on ANY bike

That is true. Only available for sale.

Absolutely love it! But at those prices... very difficult to justify unless you have an unbelievable income. Even the stock bikes are too much for a lot of people nowadays and personally I just can't keep up. I miss 1996 bike prices. Strikingly beautiful machine though.

I can't believe how far dirtbikes have come. When I first got into racing in the late 90's, I remember marveling at how trick new bikes were, but they were still a dirtbike in my eyes. A bike that was going to get abused. I look at new bikes now and they are almost car-like in their design and features.
