Last year we sent my parents on an Eastern Caribbean cruise for Christmas and Birthdays since they never had a honeymoon. Liking that idea so much and its better than opening up a shitty gift I want to stick to that idea.

Since we have people here from all over I figured this is the best place to come. A1 is too close and not financially doable right now. Vegas is kinda pricey from where we live as well. You also need more than just a weekend in Vegas. I have been there 4 times and feel you need at least 4-5 days. Toronto is close and we go to it anyways.

Given our current schedule which SX do you think would be best for this? They would fly in on a thursday night or friday and leave on sunday. I am talking total package. Hotels being close to the track, night life, good area, nice stadium, and just overall a great feel. I really appreciate everyones feedback and look forward to getting them their gift based on your guys feed back. I was thinking either New Orleans, Atlanta or Arlington. I am open to whatever though.

i think you meant A1 is too far?haha but i know what you mean. Even though A1 would be out of the question for you i believe that it is the best sx to go to. its a fresh start which means the winners are almost unpredictable, enthusiastic crowd, practice is actually fun to watch because of the new bikes, riders etc, pits are goin off.. stuff like that

This is just me, but I've always wanted to do Daytona. Between the race and the Bike Week activities, it seems like it would be a blast.

My dad raced pro and has been to Daytona a bunch of times. Both as a spectator and a racer. I really appreciate the feedback though. Keep it coming.

Gym, when you said your dad raced pro I looked at your last name and your in the NE. Is your dad Kenny?

I'll say Daytona cause its bike week and good weather or New Orleans because of the city itself.

No I have a different last name than my father. He is Brian Austin and he has a brother Paul. I am thinking potentially New Orleans. Trying to send them somewhere they haven't been yet.

I always heard that New Orleans has street crime problems and a police force that would make the cops in Tijuana look legit. Plus, I heard the women there show their mam-glands for a string of beads.

New Orleans is filthy, stinking shit hole. Unless you have your shots up to date, Id avoid that cesspool.

Ha ha ha, well, maybe two strings of beads! Crime problems? - you're crazy! And how many NOLA cops have beheaded someone - zero!

Daytona because it is (1) the gnarliest track in Supercross and (2) it is during bike week; lots to see and do. My other choice would be Atlanta because they pack it in every year!

What is an actual shit hole? How many people have these? Do you mean a comode? What shots should we get? If you're referring to drugs, then you don't need to be on drugs to come to New Orleans, especially not intravaneous drugs. Why not wait until you get here and then get what is the best price? Cool

I've been to Minneapolis, Indy, St. Louis, Anaheim, and Phoenix over the years and the one I'd likely head back to first on that list is Phoenix.

I've been to Indy a few times, the stadium is almost new and it's awesome inside, great amenities, no big lines for food or beer, etc.
But the catch with Indy is the pits, you don't have the big parties that you get on the west and in the south because it's cold as balls in Indy that time of year. Still we always have a pretty good time and the stadium is close to downtown Indy.

A1 is tops in my book because of the buzz/anticipation. But if you're looking for a different date with a destination feel in addition to the race, San Diego might be hard to beat. There is a weather risk for any open air race, though.

A1 - because of the anticipation and the first race of the season.
Phoenix - great stadium and still has that early season buzz
San Diego - 50/50 chance of rain every year, but hey it's San Diego you can't complain...
Daytona - Bike Week! Party central
Toronto - it's Canada...
Atlanta - 70k SX fans is awe inspiring to see

Although the track in Indy is cookie cutter, the race is over St Patrick's Day and downtown Indy is awesome.

At least in daytona or Vegas you can make a long weekend out of it

Given your criteria, Indy and Atlanta are both fun. Dallas is good, but I'm not sure about the nightlife. Seattle could be fun as well, though it's late in the season.

Not sure about the hotel deal, but Atlanta is a fantastic event... just make sure you get good seats early. Seeing 60k plus indoors in that stadium is a treat, the 450 guys are close to peak in form, and the East guys are just getting underway.

But of course, the best of all is always A1.

funny no one mentioned houston. been going there for 20 yrs and it is a great event and there is plenty to do there. been to atlanta and it's cool not sure about the city though.

if you haven't been to new orleans recently, say the last five years, it's different than what you remember. mammary glands are not flying everywhere for beads and just like any other city there are bad areas that you don't want to venture into, but as long as you are in the tourist zone you'll be fine. it's not the war zone that people not from here make it out to be.
