I'm curious about how the riders' lap times in the 2-stroke exhibition compared to the 4-stroke 450s. Any info out there??

And, is there any commentary, photos etc. from the 2-smoke event??

I would think that you would have to compare the same riders, too.....We have all seen how much faster JBS is than most of the field on a 2 stk vs their 4.....and Ricky won the outdoors on a CR250 against a bunch of 4's so its possible to be faster....no point in arguing it......mfgr's want to sell the 4's and its easier for the general public to roll through a corner and dump the throttle on a 4 than to carry speed on a 2 and still clear jumps/win drag races on straights.....just my .02.

By the end of this year, when the big 4 have sold a combined total of 12 bikes, perhaps they'll realize that the $8,000 dollar four stroke wasn't such a good idea....

When MXA did a critique of rider's styles several years ago, they said Albertyn did everything wrong and Windham did everything right.

Not off hand, but understand, the 2-stroke race was not main priority. Look for photos, and videos to surface in the near future.

Richie, looked better than he has in a long time. He almost got the "Holeshot", but Albee, was just a wheel in front, and probably merge over on Owens. It was damn close.

The race was Jody Weisel's idea, so look for MXA to have something soon. I'm confident that there will be a lot of pix of Richie.

His outside elbow is not up and his outside knee is not pressing into the bike, so I would not call it "textbook" perfect. However, it looks very effective and it's a bitchin shot.
