First turn did I see a little bump and run on Hunter?   On the flipside, I was suprised ET and Jett both get by in the one corner.

He just doesn't have the raw speed of Eli, Jett and Chase. He's a master of taking advantage when something is presented to him though.

Yaa, I was wondering if Hunter went to deep or if Webb push him wide then turned down? If so I thought is was a nice "Racecraft" move.

I thought we were in for a special night with Coop cutting down in every corner and shortening the track, but Eli and Jett had next level speed.

Folks are welcome to disagree but I do not think he is 100% yet after the Aus Open. He faded.  I am thinking it's only a matter of weeks for him to find his form again unless he has major problems we do not know about.

He had a big crash in Dec I think and was off the bike for a few weeks. So he's gonna need a few rounds to get back into it, he's not as ready as some of the others.

I see his speed deficiency being a problem this year. Like you said, he's a master of maximizing others mistakes. Last year he really only had to capitalize on Jett making mistakes. The way Chase and Eli look already, he's gotta worry about them too. He's going to need a lot of off nights from all three of those guys to be in it this year

100% Dan.  He was also very sick last night in qualifying from what I gathered. Diarrhea and vomiting. Im impressed with him so far considering circumstances.

Yea not quite 100%, but even if he were, he wasn't hanging with Eli and Jett.

Kenny was clearly quicker, but couldn’t get around, Webb was changing up his lines every lap and was super unpredictable, this is the race craft everyone talks about.

Webb doing what webb does.  Consistent finishes.  He was squirting out of both ends.  With a hungry eli,  webb and sexton,  gonna be a great season.

Darkside in classic Darkside fashion asked him post race about the "rumors" of the off season crash that we can't just talk about because moto...... off the bike around 4 weeks, says he's 70-80%.... so dumb that this stuff is always so hush hush.....

When we get back to the rough and rutted tracks of the east coast that is where you will see Webb rise up. When the track is rough and more technical, the speeds are lower and that is where be a bigger contender for wins.

Jazzed to see Webb lead the race for more than half...      He looks good.    I can't imagine being under the weather and being able to run your body/heartrate like that for more than a few minutes.      Dude is tough as nails...  one reason I've been a fan of him forever.

The overlooking and doubting of Webb has been going on a long time.    Yet the man holds 2 SX championships that he sure as hell wasn't gifted out of circumstances.

There is no denying Webb's race craft. Great ride for being sick and possibly off the bike in the off season.

As far as Webb not having speed, I thought his qualifying time was decent?

Can he go 20 minutes like that? You know that Eli, Chase and Jett can. Not knocking Coop at all but those guys are FLYING!

4-3 start for Webb after coming in unprepared - he's gonna be in this.
