Peacock please help. (Strange noise)

is it the constant buzz/hum background noise been hearing it on everything from peacock

Sounds like some sort of device vibrating at a high frequency, perhaps an elongated shape based on the resonance, and then a dulled/muffled tone indicating it may be stuck inside of something.  Super weird. Is it only Diffy's mic picking it up?   I have a hypothesis......

Is it the drone?

The strange noise you heard at Daytona was lee differ and wheel chreeestian . Everything else was normal. 

i only hear it on my bedroom tv.   basement tv is clear

I thought this was a thread to complain about castilian as default language in Peacock.

Lower third of the image was flickering constantly during the broadcast. Hope it doesn't do that again. Heard some odd background noise during Arlington, I just figured it was the director adding some fake crowd noise. 

Confirmed here too on multiple devices. 

Please look into this Peacock.

Confirmed on my TV too. Every race so far. It's not the drone. 

Honestly, I saw a thread a few weeks ago talking about it and I thought everyone was crazy (well I actually thought it was just the guys TV/speakers). Well, I got it this weekend. I was playing the sound through a big portable PA speaker this time instead of my normal sound bar, and I thought that was the issue, but no other programs were doing it. I should go back and watch an older race through the same speaker and see...

Well-documented. It is some kind of interference or feedback, not a drone. The sound varies between two pitches and rests 6-10 dB below the regular broadcast volume. Can't hear it when the engine noises are prominent or when someone speaks, but even then it colors the tone.

I can't believe that somebody, anybody, on the professional broadcast team hasn't yet noticed this.  

I thought it was a live broadcast issue, but we watched Daytoner on Sunday and the sound was present in the replay.

You'd probably have better luck if you all reached out to NBC/Peacock. I don't think there's anyone active here that works for NBC.

That annoying noise on Peacock? Its Leigh Diffey. 

Yep. Couldn’t agree more. Almost hurts my ears. I hate it. How has no one brought it up on pulp or anything? 

Fine on my vizio/roku, my friend watches through Xbox and hears it.

I hear it on a Samsung TV with the Peacock app.  I do not hear the noise on any other peacock program, or any other app on the TV.  It's definitely specific to the SX broadcast.

I've been learning Australian thanks to Diffy and Screech.   It's basically English except you replace the first vowel in each word with the last vowel in the same word, then 50% of the time sub  D to "J" and O to "OR"

I found a couple of years ago that my ceiling fans, the ones with the ‘digital motors”, caused some background interference during broadcast.
