It's nothing to do with his accent.  It's to do with the drivel that comes out of his mouth.  He's almost as bad as Ralph. 

For me it's all about his accent, that broad Queensland accent makes my skin crawl. 

Will's accent is fine, her problem is she uses a 50 word paragraph to relay what could be done in a simple sentence. (Will, be word efficient)

diffey and the rest are pretty solid. 

It’s not so much that I dislike him. It’s just knowing there is better. Weege and JT need to be the main guys. Maybe JS down on the track interacting with riders or mechanics. His personality brings out the personality in others. I miss the old school pit reports too. Like Let’s hear what the mechanic is trying to say to Sexton on the board when he’s trying run down Tomac. 

Mav - you ought to pin a "we hate" thread poll at the top and gather up all the bitching and moaning in one bucket. 

😂 as a Queenslander, Diffey sounds American to me.

Weege, JT, Stew, and Blair.  Nobody else needed.

Will is terrible but I think much of the fault for this lies with the producers.  It's obviously them who seem to think we want to hear about endless back stories, feelings, what the riders said to Will 'earlier in the day' etc. 

It's mindless drivel and disrespects the sport.  Don't these producers realise there is an invention known as the internet and on this invention fans can get all the information on riders they could possibly want through social media posts, vlogs on YouTube etc etc?  That is, fans don't need Will and Diffey blathering on while we're trying to watch the race!

I like the sound of his voice. And I bet that the new or causal viewer will hear his voice and think about how they have heard him before. When I have bumped into him announcing something else that I normally do not watch, I have a similar feeling.  As silly as it sounds , I've stopped flipping through channels when I heard his voice and watched to see what it was. I do not remember exactly the other stuff. So maybe that makes my point not a great one. But I think that even though he may not be a core moto guy and know all the cool guy words. He does a great job and I think that involving people like him,that have been involved in other sports that may have a crossover audience or demographic is a good thing. His voice brings excitement. And even if a few people dislike him and parts of the broadcast, people are talking about it and putting it out into the interweb world. And in a way its like free advertising that You can watch racing live on peacock. Who knows maybe they do it on purpose to give people something to bitch about so they get some extra publicity.  

He's an obnoxious twat. 

Something happened with Blair nobody will talk about. His profile was rising in the broadcasts, all of a sudden he is gone. There was some fucked up on air tension between him and Ricky that was weird. Blair should be on the broadcasts. Half the other folks banging gums suck, they make our sport look bush league. Ricky should get a job as a stunt double in the next Lord of the Rings movie if he needs air time.

Has there ever been a commentator that wasn’t a pro racer that was unanimously liked? I don’t think so. There in lies the problem; you mob will never accept whoever they put in there, unless they’re a well liked former American pro.
Even then, there’s been very few that the majority liked. So why even bother bitching about something that can never be perfect?
For every person that likes someone’s style, there’ll be someone who doesn’t. It’s no big deal.
