Don't see Kris or Aden in any practice timing today. Anybody know if they made it there?

Yes they have been here for several days.

you do not have to run transponders for practice so that’s why you don’t see them. Both have practiced already today.

Kris raced this morning in 40+. Holeshot, crashed, came back to second, then got passed by Emig (Brownie won).

I think Aden's first race is coming up in about 30 mins.

Aden got 5th in his first moto. Looked pretty good. I can only imagine how much fun this week will be for them.

Pretty impressive considering he never really raced minis and only started taking it serious 2 or so years ago. Probably will have a lot longer career as won’t get burnt out as soon as the kids that have been chasing the dream since they were 7 years old.
Does he have a chance to get picked up by one of the big teams?

He's doing great again this moto! I like when the primarily west riding kids come do well in the soft stuff. Shows versatility!

Great job by Kris and Aden! Shout out to another father/son duo, Bobby and Mcayden (Magoo) Fitch. Dad with a 5th in the 40+ and son with a 4th in supermini! Mom Alyssa and little Ryker also racing!

Kris wants to race a pro national. He should wait an try it when aden races 1. The would be pretty cool. Father and son racing a national at the same time.

He is considering his competition! He'll hang his head because that's who he is but he shouldn't.

Keefer posted a podcast on Pulp with Travis Preston, Alex Martin and his son for day 1 at the ranch.  I went to grab the link and I see there's a Day 2 pod also.

It always sort of surprises me when kids of guys who race/ride are not that interested in riding themselves, because that's all I wanted to do when I was a kid and my parents had less than zero interest!

At the same time, it's sort of good to see that the kids aren't 'forced' into it and get to do what they want to do while they are young!

Pretty good to see those guys smiling together like that.  Even if the son never races a National level race, he's probably going to enjoy riding with his dad long into the future!

Jack Doohan mentioned that he never wanted to ride bikes because he would always be compared to his dad Mick Doohan. That's why he got into car racing

Anyone know what Kris is riding in the UK at VMXdN at the end of the month?

Psyched to see him out here, everything you here from or about the dude is positive.

Hope him and his lad finish off Loretta's strong and the family have built some awesome memories 👍

I appreciate the updates Kris. It’s been fun following your week even with the bs weather.

Very impressive for a So. Cal rider from the Desert. He lead a few laps too! I’m sure Kris is very proud. Well done!

Once it started raining he got terrible starts. Looks like he figured it out.

Yep, and doesn't matter which class you're in. This shit's gnarly as fuck, no matter what.

Aden was pushing the pace in the mud, he looked like he was racing and not just "surviving" impressive ride for sure.
