Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
Getting 0 points in 2 motos in a 22 moto series while jett can stop for 30sec at the start and still get a top 5 with this field. Would have to get hurt or have a lot of problems.
Possible yes, most likely no.
What if Jett gets hurt?
Jett can cruise around at 80% and potentially still win all the motos… they had DF covered by like 45 seconds at the end of Moto 2 last weekend.
Unfortunately, I think this one is done. But on the bright side, I get Saturday afternoon back!

Dylan can keep this alive , I think he will slowly step it up and get in the mix , let’s hope so anyway or it’s not even worth turning it on
Denver SX 2023.
3-5 seconds a lap is a lot of ground to make up at that level.
1 pebble + no handguard = no championship.. one I'll timed foot dab. One sketchy lapper. COVID 20. Just a little more of Chase or Dylans front fender. ALl kinds Of weird shit happens when it gets hot. Let's not give Jett the trophy yet. Chase was just gifted an SX championship, I'm sure he'll take MX one as well.
Chase will more than likely miss more than 1 round.
We’re one injury away from there being a real possibility of seeing Aaron Plessinger or Cooper Webb a 450 MX champ.
Also Denver (Thunder Valley) MX 2015.
20 more motos to run. Anything can happen.
I thought the same thing on my way to work today. AP has a legit shot at the title if something happens to Jett.
Lamson was out of it in 95. Emig was out of it in 92 and 96. Chase was out of it in SX this year too. Alot can happen in 20 motos.
Thankfully, the 250 class is very exciting and competitive. Only time will tell in the 450 class. I don't think it is smart to write off any rider at this point given all the crazy shit that has happened this year.
Great point.
Ironically, it seems like that's exactly what Chase was struggling with 3 months ago and he kept throwing it away.
It's not over till the last checkered flag has flown.
Chase has Mono. I expect him to be out 2-3 weeks. Its over unless Jett has major injury.
I'm already sick to my stomach with all the Jett fanboy posts!
If what Chase says is right regarding having a pretty substantial fall that day in practice, on top of the Mono, he could've been impaired and not running at his usual 100%. I'm not minimizing Jett's amazing performance, but I don't believe he can beat everybody else at their 100% while riding his 80%. He's going to have good days and not so good days like everybody else. And, coming back from what DF is coming back from...he did pretty damn well to be where he was.
This is a mental defeat from Chase, and a victory for Jett on so many levels. Hopefully he gets back sooner than later so that we can witness some epic battles. The longer he sits out the stronger the rookie gets, and this will hunt him.
Pit Row
People need to understand that all it takes is one bad jump off the start to push him back and get taken out, and this is a whole different series. Also, Chase was dinged up last week from his practice crash and still rode to within 1 second of Jett in moto 2 and being 45 seconds ahead of DF. There's simply no way that Jett can ride around at 80% and beat the field. That's laughable. Jett at ~95% and beat the field (excluding Chase and DF) assuming no crashes on the start? Maybe. Jett is a great rider no doubt, really like the kid. Its the typical fanboi drivel BS that just gets tiring.
Well he has so why not?
A lot of focus on the concussion, and not a lot on the fact that he has mono as well. If he has a bad case of it, he could miss way more than just this one round.
If Jett is even close to the pace he had, relative to the other riders, at Pala, that’s going to be a 56 point gap to make up in 18 races. It’s not impossible, but if Jett doesn’t have any catastrophic moments, I don’t see it happening.
First up, I feel Chase is out for quite a while, not one round.
Secondly, there will be 39 other riders trying to beat Jett, while most are not capable, I'm sure their going to try their dammed hardest.
2023....
Hell, Cianciarulo has a pretty good shot, too. And how crazy would it be to see Grant Harlan win it all???
Tomac had it all but won...
It's over.
Chase is missing more than one round, if he didn’t win the SX title guaranteed he wouldn’t be taking a break from MX. I think he knows the challenge he has with Jett and after the dramas with the SX title he is feeling burned out and needs a break.
It was over before it began.
Write off 2023 as worst season in history. (SX and MX)
My question is if he had mono how did he do so well at Pala?
