Pretty good listen, I love when professional racers still love riding. Seems like he’s in a great place being a dad.

When you've been homeschooled and never really socialized properly...and have been around MX "bros" all your life, that's generally how you speak.

It was a good listen.  Barcia seems to love riding like i love riding.  He talks a little about his image with the other riders and kind of has the awww shucks attitude.  It would be awesome if Barcia won a couple of these

Ha, I am an Ivy leaguer with a PhD in neuroscience, I develop machine learning tools for neurosurgery, and I’m director of R&D at my company. I never once was bothered by the vernacular styles of the host or the guest. All I heard was two dudes who love dirt bikes, and one dude who was happy to be a father. Stop judging people based on a few linguistic quirks and maybe listen to what they are saying. Being a dick isn’t synonymous with being smart.

He was talking about Jase, not Barcia.

It was indeed a good listen except for the "like" all the time. That's really annoying.

I guess it just takes mental bandwidth that i don't have to actively parse filler from substance while attempting to process zoomerspeak, and/or my ADHD is worse that i care to admit.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not really a fan but mad respect. I raced him on 65s and 85s up in district 34.  His parents spent every penny in their bank account to get him to the races.  His bikes were duct taped together, they slept in a completely rusted out  junk van. The guys an all American success story. Kids now a days wouldn’t make it a second in his shoes.
carry on…

You had me until the "kids nowadays" thing. I can acknowledge generations change, but I know of a few kids doing the same thing "nowadays."

You don't have to backhand the current generation to give props to the last.

No, we shouldn’t be judging anyone on how they speak, but you have to admit that hearing “like, like, like” every seven seconds is simply annoying?

Maybe I’m just a dirt bag bro, but I don’t even notice really.

Barcia talked about wanting to do cyclocross. I’d tune in for sure.

For all of Justin's faults and bad judgement at times on the track he just seems like a guy that realized how good his life is and is enjoying the heck out of it. I've always been a big fan partially because he is a bit of a wild child on the bike to this day. Imho he adds some much needed spice to the racing scene.

Haven’t listened yet but I did listen to Craig’s episode and really enjoyed that one, also his insight on his back injury. I had scoliosis surgery last year at 27 , so a little different situation. Was a good listen on my MTB ride. Respect to barica , can’t say the dude doesn’t give 100% every time, definitely makes some bonehead moves at times .He was a beast on the gieco bike. I remember in 2018 when he rode a privateer Honda , it seemed like his career was kinda in limbo. Cool to see him revamp his career , and the gas gas team seems like a really good fit for him.

Oh man, the end was so good when they talked about him revving his bike and being a bad influence on the next generation. I guess he was never able to blow up those Honda 250s Shocked

We rode Blue Diamond all the time and saw him when he stayed there for a few weeks.  He was beating the piss out of those bikes. Now we know why!!! LOL!

I own two successful companies, employ a lot of people and I’m as dumb as they come. I agree with you. Some of my best employees do not have a higher education and their vocabulary shows, yet they are brilliant. Design Build & Robotics/Automation.
