He was a salty dog all year. Every week Wil Christian talked to the team and we were going to see a different Webb. He reinvented himself 16 times this season.
He fought to the death. Refused to be out of this championship.
He exited it like he rode it. As a non factor

How people can find any kind of pleasure being an anonymous douchebag to the world is beyond me. Parenting epic failure...
I know it's hard but we'll get through it. We all want to hear Wil Christian say "Cooper Webb is not out of this championship!" one more time
But don't be sad. He'll be back 5th placing his way into contention next year
Makes me wonder what a miserable life these people must live.

I loved watching him get his butt kicked. Too cocky for me. Just wish Sexton had taken it to him last year.

Yeah he is just a piece loud mouth who never backs up anything he or his team says.

Webb is a great SX rider, has the credentials to back it up. But this year has been a substantial fail as far as title defences go. 1 win, 8 out of 16 podiums.
Out of 13 full length mains his average gap to first is 21.8 seconds. Only 4 times has he been less than 10 secs off the lead and only once within 5 seconds.
Same actually. I think he’s arrogant and not exciting to watch.
Disappointing season. Wanted to see more from him. It’s always rad when that dude pulls some crazy finish out of nowhere with his insane race craft. Finger guns and all
Very telling stats. I wonder has there ever been a season where the defending champion has raced every round and not won a race? (Yes I know Webb got an overall at a triple crown but he still never won a race).
Yes. 2022, Cooper Webb (2021 champion). 4 podiums (3 2nds, 1 3rd), zero wins. Although he did miss round 13, don't remember what happened. 7th overall for the series
Jeff Emig never won another main after he won the title in 97 .
