I was going to dig up the old shoe thread we had but it was pretty old. Curious what some of your current favorite shoes are. What are you finding most comfortable. Or what’s a pair you just like.

Looking back at the old thread I was wearing only New Balance. The last two years I switched to ASICS and have a ton of ASICS shoes.

I think they are pretty comfortable overall.

Recently, I tried a pair of HOKA’s and I must say probably the most comfortable shoe I’ve worn. I’ve noticed more people wearing them.

Of course one pair isn’t enough…!!

I also like the Cloudflyer brand. I don’t have a pair yet but I like the style and how you mostly just slip them on.

But, for sure if you are on your feet a lot give the Hokas a try. Very comfy…..

Nice looking shoes. I’m at the age where my feet are giving me fits. For some reason DC shoes have been my go to for comfort but now they are no longer working out for a full day on my feet. Most of my remodeling work is interior so I don’t like using my big work boots as they r just too bulky. I might look into these Hokas

I’ve been wearing Hoka’s for 6+ years. Comfortable shoes no doubt but I’ve developed what I believe to be plantar fasciitis about 9 months ago and have been fighting it off & on ever since. My DIL said the “On Cloud” shoes are the best for PF so I’m going to order a pair next week and see if they help. It’s crazy how expensive these shoes have gotten over the last few years though.

I'm a Keen guy. They will get dirty after a while but they are hard to wear out. Light weight, too.

I only have one pair of DCs. I bought the Ricky Carmichael editions a long time ago. Wore them once, was too afraid I’d ruin them so they’ve been in the closet. lol

Plantar fasciitis- 12 years. Shoes with low heel to toe drop make it worse. Hoka usually have around 4mm, other brands have around 10mm
I’m in brooks glycerin with superfeet insoles.
Getting shockwave treatment soon I think- and then surgery if shockwaves not effective. Most of my doctors recommended Brooks, New Balance or ASICS with neutral cushioning

Did the insoles help you any? What model are they? I have been looking at them but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Can't believe you've had it 12 years. I'm pulling my hair out at 9 months!

Sandals Oofos hands down, I am growing a collection of them now. Asics and On for running and working out, and Twisted X boots for everyday work and lifestyle wear.

Xero shoes and merril vapor gloves. Workouts are without shoes.

Your feet hurt cause they’re weak. You have bunions cause you’ve worn stylish shoes for too many years. You have plantar faciitis because your shoes have too much heel stack.

Fight me bros.

Been on Asics for a few years now and have been happy with them, based off this thread I'll check out the Hokas. Hopefully I can find a pair that doesn't look like a tropical fish Laughing

Still liking my Skechers. Got a couple pairs of New Balance the past year. Not exactly impressed with the quality after getting some miles on them.

I had been wearing sketchers but got a pair of Hoka clifton 8s a few weeks ago and they are the best shoe I’ve worn.

Used to be a New Balance 990 series guy. At the moment I own several pairs of SAS shoes. Both are very comfortable and I am getting way more life out of the SAS. I currently have a pair of Journey and Pursuit. The best part of it all is they are made in the USA. The only two shoe companies that make shoes in the US.

I have been wearing ASICS for a few years. Very comfy. Most recently bought a pair in Carlsbad. Lasted 3 weeks b4 sloe separated, took them back, replacement pair lasted 2 weeks. Went back to a sign that said closed indefinitely.
Emailed ASICS, they gave a refund (less tax). Thought it was probably a batch issue so reordered same style, 3 weeks till separation. To be fair, this is the first time I've had issues wit that brand.

Cut grass, yard work, pit bike shoes. Beat the shit out of them and they have been holding up very well.
