Hopefully lol, i read his book after a coworker mentioned it to me. Im working heavily on emissions estimates at work and had to read through the IPCC reports and used them as references in a recent paper we published.

Did you actually listen the to the Dessler episode? I'm glad Joe is open to hearing both sides of this topic.
I didn't think he was the far left "the sky is falling" type that people are trying to make him out to be. I thought he made a few good points.

I'm listening to the Dressler episode right now as I type this. My point is only that Joe was goaded into having this guest on.

In the earlier years of his podcast, he would have a guest with controversial opinions and that would be it. Joe didn't need to have Dressler on his show - you can find Dressler's opinion or any number of matching mainstream climatologists opinions everywhere in the media. CNN, MSNBC, The Washington Post, The New York Times, you name it.

Joe's podcast was always about giving voice to counter-intuitive points of view and the viewer could decide for themselves. Now, the powers that be are banding together to silence him and his guests.

It was Joe's idea the have Dressler on to counter Koonin..

There have been a several climate scientists on the show over the years. He wasn't pressured to have any of them on.

really had no idea who any of these guys were, so had to google them, ran into an article written by a former student of the first guy now a guy who tracks asteroids or something. What I got from that was he thinks it is very likely we have a cataclysmic asteroid strike. Good god, what am I doing here.

Look I don't want to get into the whole climate business or pretend I am an expert, but IMO many of these people have economic interests that far outweigh the "Science" regardless of what side they are on.

I mean I might as well listen to two guys argue about the existence of Aliens, or asteroids smashing into earth...
HMMMmmmm, Never mind scratch that, I watched that stupid movie Don't look u on Netflix , kinda enjoyed it.

Joes newest podcast with Dakota Meyers is a must listen. Dakota is one remarkable person for all he has seen and gone thru. He’s been on the JRE show before and this ones just as good as his previous visit

Funny you mention that! Michael Bisping (former UFC Middleweight Champion for those that don't know) was his most recent guest. 10 minutes in he was explaining he has "Night Terrors". Thought of your post as Pastrana also has them.

Dwayne Johnson was supporting Rogan when the "misinformation" thing started then withdrew his support after that "incident". There's compilation of him saying hectic stuff (not taken out of context) and, he tried to delete old Tweets but was too late.
