because there were ruts, and its racing. He doesnt need to cross jump people to beat them if that is what youre digging for.

I think there was an abundance of cross jumping in Indy. Rutty tracks tend to bring that out I suppose. haha

What specifically are you referring to? I don't know if I saw any one incident.

I was curious where the uproar over cutting left in the woops was...
I like Dungey and was a tiny bit disappointed seeing this despite being OK with it.

I saw lots of crossjumping and cazy line changes. I figured the same thing sort of..that the track was super sketchy and everyone was just trying to not die.

Nobody talking about him cutting clear across the whoops right in front of Kenny either. That one looked intentional and scary as it happened.

I thought the cut over in the whoops was questionable. Shows how much control Roczen had to check up. Guessing there would have been an uproar if someone moved over on Dungey like that.

I thought for sure people would be flaming CP for leaving his bike on the track and walking away, especially after that amateur kid did it in Daytona and got ripped apart.

Way to change the subject Mr. X.

If we're playing this game then I'm surprised no one is talking about how horrible Ms.SX is when talking on camera, or how good Jenny was, or how the coverage was bad, or boring podium speeches, or the dance moves, or how boring SX is to the MXGP's, or any one of a number of things Vitards complain about.

Yeah, not cool. Never even looked back. Couldn't have been too injured, as he lined up for the semi shortly after.

Anderson did it to Dungey in the heat.
Kongols just looks to pick at anything RD does since the incident with James at the opener.
The slot car track took you wherever the ruts were pointed, reason for so many caution flags and the leaders putting 30 seconds on 2nd place.

I'm also surprised that no one is talking about what kongols brought up. Dungey moved over alot through that section .

Hey, half of your post is untrue.
I just find it funny that there are different standards for different riders.

This.

And Craig got nailed to the cross for doing the same thing.

The kid in Daytona got ripped apart for punching a tuff bloc repeatedly, not just for leaving his bike on the track.

Just a guess here...

Is this a feel good post for Stew's fanboys? After fighting back years of butthurt concerning Vital's opinion of JS7's race tactics, it must be nice to see the Dunge do anything less than perfect.

I don't find it funny at all. It makes sense to treat them based on how they've ridden over their careers. Repeat offenders get marked.

Hannah, Bradshaw, Matiasevich, Emig to an extent, and nowadays Friese all come to mind. Once you acquire this label, it is like herpes, you are not getting rid of it! The gift that keeps on giving. Friese is a prime example of someone with serious speed and skills that will forever be marred by a reputation he cannot or maybe just refuses to work to avoid. I will say he has seemed much more aware of his surroundings and "let" some people by with much less resistance lately? Maybe that is just my obs, but it seems like what is happening. Not a VF55 fan, but cannot help but wonder how different his career/rides would be without that label??

Kenny congratulated him twice after the main event. If he had a problem with it, I'm guessing the discussion would have been less cordial.

Doesn't make the move any less dirty.

Same goes for cross jumping.

^^ this! We need more tracks with alligator infested water crossings and a slimy steep 100' uphill climb afterwards. Laughing
