Oh ok.
Dallas and Minny that year were good too.
Likewise Houston, Pontiac and Daytona 05. Orlando was cool for intensity. Wish Reed hadn't had the brake DNF at the opener. Woulda been closer at the end at least.
There is no reason to not like the guy. I've rooted for other riders in the past but I think I'm becoming a huge Reed fan myself.
He is still kicking some serious ass!
How about this guy from a long time ago too? Been wanting to post this but figured now would be a good time.
Go REED!
bur this thread is about CR 22. Lets get everybody hyped for SD!!!!!!!!
Pit Row
Honestly it's crazy to think that his career started out as the only rider in the world being able to match it with the GOAT. He and Ricky were so far ahead of the pack they even lapped the entire field aside from each other on one occasion.
Now there's James Stewart who is even faster then Ricky Carmichael ever was, and many believed couldn't be beaten by CR or RC unless he crashed. A 2 time supercross champion. Then there's Ryan Villopoto, the young guy who has been the man to beat for the last 3 years and is in his prime right now. Ryan Dungey who has been just that little bit behind him. And now Ken Roczen who looks set to be battling with the likes of RV, RD and Bubba for years to come. Yet somehow Chad Reed has managed to keep up as the field progresses for 11 years. I thought for sure his ACL injury in 2012 was the end of his career given the recovery time from that injury and his age. Then last year his career was at an all time low... yet he has bounced back from that and is arguably at his best right now. Defying age, injury and a ridiculously stacked field.
GO REED!!!
First pro race......Gatorback 1994.
Last race...Can't remember the exact race........but mid 2013.
That's 19 friggin' years as a pro in this sport!
He has the longest race list I have ever seen in the vault >>>> http://vault.racerxonline.com/rider/kevin-windham/races
BUT....you guys are right! Chad Reed is a bonafide bad ass on a dirt bike! Still winning now and he's raced the best this sport has ever seen. MC , RC , Stewart , RD , RV.....the list goes on and on.
I love it.
First 250 win was In Charlotte April 19, 1997. His last win (SX) was May 1, 2010. That is 13 years. INSANE!
Now Reeds first 250SX win was January 4,2003. His latest win was February 1, 2014 II years. Two SX titles and 43 SX wins and counting.
Go Reed!
Can you imagine how much leg work it took to get it going tho... That's a lot of data! Looking at KW's page alone makes me dreadedly remember doing data work at Uni. Fuck I hate databasing – weird breed of people who like that sort of shit haha
Post a reply to: Who Else But Reed...
