So, any news regarding Covington, will he race the East coast or wil he start the season outdoors?

Very exited to seebhow he will do in the US, hopefully no injuries through SX and he will be podium material in MX.

Absolutely! I'm hoping for podium...or top-of-the-podium material. It's hard not to root for a guy whose career follows an unconventional route, with odds stacked against him, and with a seemingly friendly personality. I want to see Covington do well...but I feel that way about them all so......

It's 112 now. I'm really over the two initials and numbers thing too. Can't we just call them by their names? Covington...there. I said it. Now you try! Thomas Covington #112.

If you say his name 3 times fast while staring at a mirror, does he then appear?

Haha. Good one.

Anyways, back to the original point of this post, I'm excited to see what Covington can do. I'm not expecting him to blow people away in SX (although it sounds like he's picking it up pretty well and wouldn't be surprised if he podiums here and there), but outdoors should be really good. He was one of the few riders to run with Jorge Prado in 2018 MXGPs. He'll be strong.

I’m 50000% on board with this. I miss the days of good nicknames and full names. I’m just imagining how cringey it would be to say SL6 instead of Steve Lamson. It’s a generation thing I guess.

Yeah but everyone knows the gp guys are slow as molasses..... I'm a doctor and I personally was forced to inject molasses into the American rider's by the FIM to make the race fair.Evil

I just hope he gets through SX safe and can show what he can do outdoors. Same for a Hunter Lawrence

I can't be the only one who has seen Mosiman on the #64 Husky and thought it was Covington.

I’d be rather interested to hear from the Husky mechanics to find out how Covington sets up his suspension vs the others who have been in the US full time. Find out if bike setup is the Achilles Heel of the US riders in MX

Also, this setup could be tied to the tracks he’ll be practicing and testing on.
I wonder if it would almost be best to cross the pond here and there and practice on some of the tracks he did last year.

I was waiting for someone to catch on. Haha. I don't think Robert would've been a very good racer, but he sure did have a lot of heart!
