I was there, and in that turn when it happened.There were only a select few who were spouting off with that non sense. And the whole side of the hill was about speechless when he was laying there KO'd. I was only 16 or 17 at the time, if my current self were present I would have been in their face....His family did nothing but good for the sport. Met his parents when I raced against Malcolm at an LL qualifier, could not have been more friendly....Malcolm stomped my ass BTW, and we was still a chubby kid that liked to fish at the time.

I think James has a few more titles and wins to prove Eli still has more work ahead to be mentioned in the same sentence as JS7,

However, we have digressed, there was a mention of Eli racing the MXGP season, and I for one would think that would be really cool. It would give me an American to root for over there. I dont think he can win the title over there in one year though, especially how stacked MXGP is right now. He would have to commit for a few seasons.

Honestly, Eli needs to come back home and Ride Red!

So what we have learned so far....

1. there is no official word on Eli but someone (OP) has insider knowledge that 'something' is going to happen/said in regards to Eli not racing for the rest of the season, but says talking to John Tomac will give you the real story (huh?)

Shocking, JT thinks Barcia took Tomac out and that it was not a good move(listen to the Racer X podcast).

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But i strongly disagree, nothing wrong with that. Barcia gave Eli so much space and it looks like Eli is on his way down before any contact has happened. Eli has himself to blame.
