Ok, so I just watched the race on speed and they didn't really show reed getting hit by short. Did anyone see anything different because I didn't really see anything?

I saw Short lead the whole race and try to get second after Windham passed him fair and square. I saw Short have a perfect opportunity to just clobber Reed and he didn't do it. Then I saw Reed whining about it. So I guess I saw about what I expected.

Looked to me like Reed clipped Shorts front wheel coming in and bobbled and when Short went to accelerate out, Reed was in the way. Should have put him on the ground IMO Evil

I think Short did everything he could and should have. It would have been really lame of him to just clean Reed out like some of you guys seem to want. Yeah I think Reed bitched more than he should have, but all of those guys rode awesome.

I don't know who wanted to see Short clean him out. I thought he did it just right. He COULD have cleaned him out, but he didn't.

I read somewhere that Short''s main objective every week is to beat Reed. I don't know what the bad blood is but, he had his chance to do some damage and took the high road

If Reed thought that was dirty riding, I'd sure like the Honda camp to show him some next time so he REALLY knew what it looked!

Reed is a clueless whiner

Doesn't it have something to do with Reed taking out Short at the US Open?
It looked like a pretty good T-bone when my son and I just watched the race on Speed. Short went inside, and Reed went outside - might have been some slight contact or a bobble going in - but once they were kind of slowed and in that inside/outside position, Short seemed to just accelerate right into Reed and T-bone him. Think it has more to do with the bad blood between them rather than an "I'm going to take you down to help Kdub" kind of thing. Appeared pretty intentional to me though, and I'm honestly looking at it from an unbiased view.
Now Millsaps looked like he clearly had the opportunity to punt Reed as Chad went by him in the turn, but DM made no effort to hold Reed up at all.

I agree, shorty mentioned on the podium about helping Honda out, but I'm pretty sure it was more about Reed.

On a side note, I wish everybody rode every race like it was the US Open. Talk about some drama!!!

Oh, Short hit Reed at the exit of the turn, but Reed had wiped his rear across Short's front going in, and it was the last lap, Short had led the whole race and I'm sure he wanted to beat Reed. Reed seems to think that Short should have just moved over. On the last lap, having led the whole race and with a teammate in front, that's not going to happen.

That's funny. Like Reed should be talking about moving over.

I saw it on TV. Looked to me like Reed bobbled a bit after going under Short and hitting Short's front wheel. When Reed started to pull away, it looked like the bike lost traction, and Short was already on the throttle exiting the turn.

Looked clean to me. Heck, if Short was trying to take him out, he sure as heck could've done it right there.

Reed passed Short on the straight but bobbled in the corner. They were close to one another and Short hit Reed, it looked unintentionally. JUST RACING

You also have to give HONDA credit for having as many riders on HONDAs. NO other OEM has as many riders in the field as HONDA

You Reed haters must see every thing through beer glasses becouse none of you saw the same race I did. Reed never complained a bit on the podium this weekend, he said he understood team tactics but Short hit him a little to hard. You guys are all saying that Short should have cleaned him out, but you would all whine like bitches if Ramsey or Hill put K-fade in the dirt.

All of you guys who think Reed is to cocky or what ever on the podium must be to young to ever remember the stuff Hannah used to say. Reed is a humble guy compared to Hannah.

If Windham was taking care of Business when the season started instead of just rolling around claiming top 5s we wouldnt be in this arguement. The fact is as nice and a good guy as WindHam is he has aways played second fiddle becouse he has never and I mean ever had the killer win at all cost attitude that a real champion has. Guys like Reed James and RC are willing to do what ever it takes and ride far out of the comfert zone to win, Windham wont do that, that is why he wont win and that is why you guys will all be crying like girls at the end of the main in Vegas.

Spot on.

And you just gotta laugh at all the faux Windham cheerleaders. The exact same ones that have been ragging him the last 5 years calling him K-Fade.

Why do you say that Reed has that "killer instinct"? And will ride over his head?

IMO, that's what he was lacking was the willingness to hang it out. That's why RC smoked him for several titles. James took it last year and he'd be cruising around in second or third if James or RC or both were out there right now. Hoping they would fall.

Regardless of this incident, Reed's a whiny little bitch. Always has been, and always will be.
