Josh had a start and got stuffed by a rude 14 yr old Anthony Johnson. Still took 3rd with a steady ride, even though the announcer thought he got lapped, he had a number plate the size of a cowboy belt buckle. Good Ride Josh! Sorry you didn't get to run the big bike.

The rider intro's are a big improvement. Not too sure about the laugh machine. Maybe OK with the cow bells.

Colton Aeck lost the lead just before the finish line stuck in the rocks. Love the action.

Damn it, I got screwed in that damn spoke corner!Laughing Dude came in hot and just smacked me off the side, definitely didn't see it coming but that's racing, everyone is going for it out there.

I actually ended up second though, we lapped my buddy and I think the other kid got lapped by the leader right before the finish, so it looked like he finished ahead. The track really isn't bad at all, it's just hard when everyone is going for it and that causes a lot of carnage. Happy to be sitting in the stands watching now, that was a long day and I'm spent!

They call everything a main event. If Webb and Haaker aren't in it don't use the word main.

Good clean win for Webb. Congrats to Kyle Redmond on 2nd for a career best. I wish Colton "Kamikaze" Haaker would have done worse than 3rd since he torpedoed at least 5 riders when there was no need for it.

Well done Josh.

That was an awesome night of racing!

The girl that got 3rd is very pretty.

Colton really got flustered there. He made a ton if mistakes throughout the race. Webb was smooth as butter like always. It's tough to not root against Colton when he's putting everyone on the ground he's got to get around.

I love watching this racing. I just get annoyed with Colton just trying to run over people if we can't pass them clean. I know he's super fast, but it's part of racing. He just needs to deal with it. Great action! I'll be tuning in again next weekend. Lots of AZ representation in this sport.

Well done Josh! Cool to see you on TV!

2 of Coltons take outs were not intentional. That Joker lane placement was poorly thought out.

The joker lane is a bad deal altogether. The only thing unintentional about Colton's passes is he didn't think he would crash too and get stuck under the bikes. The guy who had his radiator blown up by him should have stood on his bike. He makes Vince Frese look like a nun.

His luck is gonna run out and his karma is gonna get him, either getting hurt or breaking his own bike. He is a very poor representative for Husqvarna and Rockstar at this point, he is riding as a desperate man.

I disagree. Colton is great for his sponsors and the sport, makes the racing exciting, incredible rider, a rider with a personality that knows there is more than just riding a dirt bike.

When Colton hit Webb and Hart they were both entering the no joke lane, total accident. He was having a rough night and was having to ride aggressive to get back to the front. There isn't guys waving blue flags, Colton has to ride aggressive with lappers because they aren't moving over and the tracks are tight.

Spewin about the blowout on the YZ, I was ready to cheer for you and reckon you would have been up there, especially if you were able to hit the finish line double a few times during the race.

Good on ya mate, it's good to see you getting amongst it in all the different disciplines.Cool

Looking forward to catching the replay. Didn’t get up there until about 8:30pm but was worth it. Great races that we ended up seeing. Congrats Josh! Been to about 4 of these things now (since ‘06) and it’s still very entertaining. Heading to South Lake Tahoe tomorrow for my daughter’s game in the morning. She really liked the races too. Making the loop from Sac-Reno-Tahoe-Sac!

Report from our day.
My 18 year old son Ty rides pro on the #16 Beta.

First part of the day didn't start off so great. First practice he was still tight and feeling things out and never did get his rhythm. Second practice he broke his throttle housing after just one lap! So he went into timed qualifying not feeling all that comfortable and having never really turned a fast lap. As expected his lap wasn't that great and that gave him 5th gate pick for the 1st qualifier.

When we lined up for the qualifier we where surprised to find the way inside gate still open. It wasn't a straight line to the first turn, but still better than gates further out. Even without a great jump he was able to come out with the lead on the first lap. Nothing like battling for the lead to turn your day around! Then as shown in the streaming he crashed, losed the lead then fought back for it!

The heat race for main event gate pick he finished a nice solid 6th against all the main event guys with any real drama.

For the bracket race he was once again lined up against Colton Haaker. Ty was pretty happy to pull the holeshot over Colton (and people think Beta's are slow-LOL) and lead for a bit. It was no surprise when Colton jumped to the inside of him in the log turn taking him out. It's what's expected in bracket racing and from Colton.

In the main he got a decent start, but he said somebody clipped his rear wheel in the log turn and he went down jamming his leg really good. After that he was 14th and got his was back up to 9th at the end. Not a great finish, but not all that bad for a pro main.

Other things from the night. Ty said the big finish line jump was one of the easiest tire doubles he has ever done, even if it was the biggest! Vegas was much smaller, but not shaped as well making it harder.

Having the joker lane where they did was really bad. It caused problems all during the main! Plus I think it's just kinda a dumb thing anyways.

There were some good moments for Ty last night. I'm sure getting the start over Colton was rewarding after the way the Colton chopped him off at Vegas on the bracket race. His ride against Geoff Aaron was one of the better races of the night. I could tell he was favoring his leg in the main, hope it's nothing serious.

The joker lane is not working out. I don't give Colton a pass for hitting riders twice while they were turning in, no excuse. I'd like to see it be a more difficult shortcut optional line for those that choose to try it.

You should really watch the race again if you don't give Colton a pass on the No Joke lane incidents. Colton is coming down the inside of the turn and the guys entering in front are wide and then turn 90. No way he knows they are going to lock on the brakes and turn like that.

Great job on those screen shots. I agree to disagree, Colton doesn't get the benefit of the doubt anymore when he rides like a drunken fool. He did it TWICE, so he has no one to blame but himself especially the 2nd time. He is supposed to be the ultimate professional, we've all seen the videos of trick riding and there may be no one that has better bike control than him. He put himself in that trap by going for a take out pass.

I think he can blame the track builders. He is landing, entering the turn on the gas because he is trying to move forward and they put the entrance in a completely sketchy part of the track. The entrance is almost right at the bottom of the landing.
