That is just beyond gnarly! If you don't respect that kid, you should just leave mx forever before somebody punches you in the face!

Yes, yes, and yes.

His return to SX in 2018 will probably give Honda more exposure than if he had gone on throughout the rest of 2017 season uninjured and winning races. After not even knowing if Ken would ever return to racing, Ralph is just not going to be able to believe it. Will be the most talked about subject during the broadcast.
I'm glad Ken is back. Like RC said, this sport needs him.

Seems like he's either ahead or on time as far as recovery is concerned. I was thinking he was about 50% of his speed too. You can tell he is riding very cautiously. Which is to be expected. I predicted he would sit out all of 2018 SX and be 100% for 2018 outdoors. Now I'm not so sure. Would love to be wrong. Racing is better with him on the gate for sure!

Jeez I haven't been to Pala in a while. That jump by the fence looks low and loooong.

Look at what a positive attitude and hard work can accomplish, Kenny rules.

This is just freakin' awesome!! Incredible really. I do hope he doesn't rush things to fast. He's got about 3.5 months until A1....and I bet he's ripping by then. Just hope he plays it smart.

The kid has heart ! He'll be even more determined to win when he returns to racing. It'll be fun to watch the next chapter of his racing career...

Becoming a bigger fan as I can appreciate someone who can pick themselves up after what he recently went through.

By the way, the whole HRC crew was out there today. Craig was ringing the neck off the new CRF250. It sounded really good.

Nothing short of amazing, even where he is at today. Lots of blood, sweat, and tears by many to get him to where he is today. Phenomenal.

How anyone could not be rooting for him is just beyond me. I think the fact he's shared everything, from the injury to the surgery, the recovery and his return to riding has really grown his fan base, and is massive for the sport.

Speechless... I know he's not up to speed yet, and is riding slightly cautiously..but wow, to get where he's at now, looking back at what he's been through...
The kid has heart and courage. Big fan here.

Got to watch him, Cole, Tomita and Andrew all day. It was awesome. The 250 team was out there...as others have said...Christian looked like he was having a good time on the new 250.

And Vital says he won't be ready for A1....
It's easy and meaningless for people to say this now, that he's seemingly well on the road to recovery..
It's fair to say, after the crash and the photo's, descriptions that followed, with multiple surgeries being undertaken, even people with medical knowledge were doubtful of A1 being realistic.
Now, that he's amazingly back on the bike and making progress, nobody is talking of him not making it back to race, whether that be A1 or later.
I'm not sure what people are getting at with these comments?
His recovery has seemingly been amazing, and everyone's rooting for him.

yes just as stupid to say he would never race again after the accident happened (how would you know until you knew how the recovery went?), yet a lot of people here did
