Pourcel should just pull that full blown pro circuit KX450 out of his garage that mitch built for him and Just race that thing. The bike setup excuse would go out the window.

Roger Pourcel was the team manager for KRT (European Kawasaki Factory) their riders are Baragan and Boog. CLS PC is a different team, BT, Searle and Anstie.

CP's Supercross career is toast if this rumor is true. I don't see any serious team hiring him for SX in 2012 after this pile of bad PR, bad choices and bad performances.

Perhaps a better title would have been "Is Pourcel Done?"

That bike setup baloney is ridiculous. Per RC on TGO Another Perfect Season: "If you get the bike set up for one part of the track, it's not going to work on the other parts. So I just go out and ride the damn bike and try to win the race."

Pourcel undoubtedly doesn't need any "excuse" - he's had a very hard few years. But the simple fact is, he's not physically ready to race. After four laps last week he was dropping anchor. It was hot, the pace was fast, the track was rough, but it's not like he wasn't expecting all that. He wasn't prepared, simple as that.

Good. I'd rather not see any more races of Pourcel riding that pig. It's ruining his rep. That guy is an unbelievable rider, but due to his previous injury he's never going to be fit because of his limited training ability and diet. He needs to be on a bike that's actually competitive with the top guys. That can be ridden at the top level. If you don't know what I'm talking about, ask Stewart. Wink
