honestly, he's about where I thought he would be. I don't see him moving up much though.

X2, its only the 2nd race. It'll take a few races for him to even out. Top 10 is a success, hopefully he sees it as that. I think he will move up if he remains patient.

It`s tough when you look at top10. No slouches there.

I really thought Chris would be a few spots higher, around 5th to 7th. He must be saving it for Unadilla. But with two weeks to prepare what more can you really expect?

I agree. I think he is doing quite well considering that the guys Pourcel is battling with have been racing year round on bikes they've ridden since late last year.

I think he will really come into his own as the season progresses.

I was one who said he would do well, still think he will get up there. Expect to see him improve and put in a good show in 2nd half.

If anyone is not riding to the hype its Bagget, CP will do better than him as the season goes on.

Its just that all the guys up front are haulin a--.

Obviously ET is the top right now, but IMO I think that the smoothest riders will continue to rise as the season progresses - CP is certainly one of them, Dungey is also right there.

Once he races himself into shape and gets a little more comfortable on the Husky, I could see podiums in his future. Top 5 for sure

On the broadcast they said he was going to use the first 5 or so races to get his fitness back and acclimate himself with the bike, then he was hoping to turn it up a bit later on in the season. I think he's doing pretty good for the shot time on the bike and only see him getting better.

CP is doing just fine. New bike , new team , first time back in the 450's here ( didn't really count the two RR Yamaha races a few years back ). He's gotta get his feet wet and his results are not bad at all! He'll get stronger as the season goes on and gets that bike dialed. I'm just stoked to see him back out there.

He's in a tough spot. I'm hoping he will improve as he heads home and gets on his program.

Everyone else is going to get faster as well. I don't see it happening this year.

The good part in my opinion is he's pushing at the end of the race. I have some shots of him and Cole Seely drag racing through the S corners and scrubbing over the single before the finish neck-and-neck, he really wanted by Cole at the end of that moto.

I don't recall seeing a "shit load" of people predicting CP would "clean up."

I think you might've missed the joke.
