Been hearing they are soon to be under new ownership and will be closed for 2 weeks next month for a complete teardown. Will be interesting to see what they come up with as the tracks have been pretty much the same layouts for the past 10 or so years.

Anyway, it’s an easy fix, so I’m hoping the new owners step it up since State Fair, Cahuilla, LACR and more continue to prep the right way.
Yes, the prep used to be xlnt there, but I don't know too many average riders that like to ride in 12"+ deep ruts.
The other issue is that there is a person that moved in next to the track that has called the police on them for excessive dust, so even though the police can't do anything about dust, the track wants to keep the problem from escalating, so they frequently over water the track to keep the dust down.
Look forward to a newer and better Perris.
