One morning I was supposed to work, I got a call right as I was getting in my truck that there was a miss-scheduling and I wouldn't be needed until the afternoon (Tuesday, so morning and night riding). About two hours later I got a call and I was asked to come in immediately as something had happened...

Well, long story short, a recently released convict walked up to the booth with a t-shirt full of rocks and bashed the chick running the booth in the face, grabbed the cash and ran off. Considering I was on crutches on the time, I wouldn't have faired much better in my defense had I gone in that morning as originally planned. Made quite the mess of the entrance booth (blood...)

Lou, you know well that this place is not in the best neighborhood. The fact that you have had nothing stolen after all your trips there doesn't mean it does not happen.

Was it Meth heads, the locals, or space aliens? who knows, but I have not been back since.

Wtpmotorsports is who has taken the new lease agreement with perris raceway. Check out their instagram page where they have already posted a soft announcement. February 1st they take over and yes plan on shutting down for 2 weeks to rebuild a new track along with a super cross track in the overflow parking lot as you pull up to the gate on the left. There should be new announcements coming real soon. The good news is they will prep the track right, as they are already acquiring a tiling machine for that perfect prep. Stay tuned!!!
