Hopefully he's got his head straightened out. Good luck to him if he does.

i call bullshit.....

"Without Sunny, I’d be screwed. I’d be walking rather than riding."

bullshit.......... Lil' Hanny has made a lot of money in this sport, and he doesn't own one fucking bike??? his dad is a walking legend, and doesn't have one bike he'll let his kid borrow??

yet...... this punk goes begging for parts from Mitch...... Mitch is doing him no good by working a monster/kawa deal for him..... Lil Hanny Deserves to hit a local dealer, buy a bike, and buy the parts from PC to ride the X-games... if Lil' Hanny really truly wants to come back to the sport, the only honorable way to do it is on his own dime.....

Some folks need to be in a make or break situation to do well.
Maybe this is what Josh needs to kick him in the ass and bring out his best.
The kid has a lot of talent he's just been screwing up and hey who among us hasn't done that?

Should be interesting.

Why wouldn't you want a bike with the #1 plate on the track for X-games?

Too late. Theyre allready here! Im thinking of cutting back my daily chronic taco consumption knowing that they sponsor him. Way to get straight; by being sponsored by a convicted felon and income tax evader and a taco stand named after pot. Is that irony? I slept through english class.

All kidding aside, the kid is talented. I personally like helping people like this out, cuz the odds are 50% straighten out. Then I have free parts and race tickets for life. Beats paying retail.

The biggest story in this is how damn good chronic taco is. I have one 2 blocks from my house on PCH in CDM. I shit you not the pigs are gutted in the alley ftor the carnitas and the burritos are at least 2 lbs. After a hard day of riding ( sorry Jody, Im not a hardcore racer like you) a burrito from chronic and straight to the Marriott timeshare hottub in Newport Coast. The hot moms from Utah and Colorado love to see dirt caked guys hopping the fence to crap up their hot tub. nevermind they made the worst investment known to man. Even Madoff says its a stupid buy.

The moms in CDM are the best around.

The real take away

If he wasn't defending X-Games champ he wouldn't be getting shit from anyone.

It's sure to bring them some tv time since he's the defending gold medalist. So it may not matter where he finishes. In the interviews though... he seems sincere. Sounds like he wrote himself off almost. wasn't expecting all the attention. Also Mitch says win or lose it's a one time deal. So he may twist that throttle a little harder knowing that.

I cant wait for MXAction to get this story up on their website. They like to show particular distain for him and JLaw. The snarky and witty comments are the best thing.

Holeshot and then fade. I realize that was a stretch to call, but just my nickle on the subject.

They will get more airtime and sponsor logo play than the folks that are paying big bucks for a commercial.

I wonder if he gets money every time he is shown on tv with Monster logos, because if he does he will make a bunch of cash. They will show him a lot and interview him too. Anyone know how that deal works?

I find it bizarre that a kid who had 3 factory rides (the KTM deal was rumored to be 3 year 1 $mil deal) is out begging for bikes and parts.

Did he spend all his money on 22" rims for his Ferrari?

it depends on the contract. but i would think not this time. PC is giving him the opportunity to ride one of the best bikes and equipment available at the x-games, the value for JH on this is $. The question is can he turn this opportunity to his advantage. He can't blame the equipment this time.

Smart move on Hansens part and on Pro Circuit. If he does good, veryone wins. If he does bad, it's one race, it wont break PC.

Josh is going to get paid, since he is last years champ. Probably several mandatory interviews lined up by ESPN.

Man... I just read the interview over at RacerX and it's kind of sad.

From Josh's perspective, he's like, "They believe in me! They are giving me a chance."

From Mitch's perspective, "Josh will be good television exposure for Pro Circuit, Kawasaki, and Moster Energy."

This is obviously a business deal, and I think it's great Mitch is giving him the deal. I think he's pretty cool to hear some of the stuff Mitch told him about keeping his shit together... It's just Josh is kind of living in fantasy land as to why they are hooking him up.

If he finishes last, more American's will still see the "Pro Circuit, Kawasaki, Monster Energy" logos in one weekend than probably all the 250F Outdoor team combined!

It's a win win for PC.

Agreed. I really see no risk in it at all for them.
