"JLaw literally does nothing that has any effect on any of the media hacks who still talk trash about him. He doesn't crack Dungey jokes or do anything to get media attention. He just wants to be left alone and a lot of MX fans are too stupid to realize that, including the guy who wrote this."
Come on he's on a serious come back! Yesterday he did almost 2 solid laps at Southwick the whole day! Then he worked on his aggressive riding technique by stuffing privateers and roosting them on purpose. So glad to see he is taking it seriously!

Not trying to take the funny away but did he really only do a couple laps?

The whole time I was there I saw him do 2 laps at race speed. Other than that he was just coasting around and looked tired. Even I can do that! Wonder if I can get a ride on JLaw racing?
Funny stuff.
Question: How does that "team" (if you can call it that) afford the trucks, bikes, parts, trick stuff, tires, gear, etc.....
Do the sponsors that fork over the money realize they are paying JLaw Racing to tarnish their image? Don't they watch his results? Don't they see that even the media has written him off now?
I would race 24/7 just to have access to the equipment that team has. They show up and don't even use it. Painful and disturbing to watch.

WTF! You see his friggin rig too? Dude needs a pickup if he's just doing 2 laps, christ! Does he own that rig or what? It's his team right

Jlaw can't really crack Dungey jokes without looking like an ass now can he? If he wants to be left alone he should stay home until he is ready to treat AMA Pro MX/SX as a top level position in life.
As it stands now he is wasting sponsor money that could go to much more deserving racers/teams.

Yea but he cant make any money at home, I mean he's making money from sponsors, plus whatever the money is for 40th per moto. IMO he's pulling just enough money in to live year to year, blowing his money on everything he blows it on

I guess the words "West Coast Supercross Champion" don't mean much to you, but they do to big companies with a lot of money. How many current/past champions are actively racing? Not that many. Relax dog, he got hurt in practice.

Thanks for this info. Two questions:
1) Why this is information about Jason getting hurt only available on a moto forum?
2) How long does it take to send out a press release to that effect? For a team with a "West Coast Supercross Champion" I would expect better public/ press relations.
BTW, I am not bagging on Jason....I only want to see him do good and think part of the comeback story would be to share information particularly when it doesn't involve Jason having done anything wrong. I hope Jason wasn't hurt too badly and shuts down all the haters with a good finish at Southwick.

I also heard, on this board, Jason only rode a limited amount at the Tuesday Southwick practice, so I hope he doesn't have any lingering hurts.
I'm always pulling for a good comeback story out of JLaw. He's made mistakes, we all have; his are just just in the limelight.
It's one...

It's one thing to criticize the guy on a forum but the slam on him in vurb's content just came across as tacky to me.
They are supposed to be funny. They are NOT supposed to be take seriously. They have done them to Dungey, Wilson, etc.. and there selves.... They are just jokes and IMO they were funny

It's good for their buisness, there are at least five or six guys on here that love Jlaw and come to his defence every time someone brings up the obvious.
That being said, I actually believe if he realy got serious he could be top five any where in the world. He has more natural tallent than anyone in the sport, it just seems as if he lacks any desire at all.

Guess who else showed up? Jason Lawrence, that’s who. The mysterious one was there to debut his new sponsor ARMA Energy Nuts (I swear I’m not making that up) and after reportedly oversleeping and missing practice, he put in a solid four laps of timed practice, qualified, and then pulled out with an ankle injury. I asked his team manager what was up and he said he didn’t know and that I should ask him.
