Marv's ringing endorsement of the new KTM after his first outdoor moto on it: "...but uuhhh...it's not bad."

Look where the track markers are... he could turn right another 30 feet up the hill..

With regards to some of you saying you’re fine with the best riders staying on the 250 because that’s what they’re best at and fit better, I hate that mindset. Every sport needs a way to get the best to consistently compete against each other. Soccer misses out on millions because Neymar and Ronaldo never compete except once every 4 years. Boxing’s massive downfall is largely attributed to having so many different sanctions that fighters can duck each other and still be champion. You look at the best and most popular sports, they have a system where it forces the best to compete against the best on a regular basis. Whether you admit it or not, the 250 class is the minor leagues when it comes to professional MX. We need ways to force the best to compete against each other. I’d personally like to see at least 6 races per year that are AMA/GP combined races, but that’s a different issue. In the states alone, we need to ensure the best aren’t staying in the minor leagues and dominating. The GPs have a way to do it. We need one too.

Looked like it was just unused grass and the actual markers were a lot further in. Maybe it just wasnt fast enough earlier? I don't see how it's cutting the track

I love the track cutting comments. You can clearly see the markers are Way inside and the “race line” is just way outside. Doesn’t mean they’re cutting just because they have good line choice. Lol

So Osbourne is Dungeys age but still in the 250's?

Surely he'd want to move up and get some mo money.

What's going on right now between Zacko and Martin is a prime example of how much better the racing can be when riders aren't locked into a 40-foot long two-feet deep rut through every corner.

Props to Dirt Diggers for not digging up the f-ing dirt.

Over-ripped tracks make for boring racing.

Switching lines back and forth like these two, that's a thing of beauty.

I'm sure he would like to, but mo' money is in the 250 class.

This is going to be a long series unless Osborne makes a mistake. He is, very clearly, the fastest guy out there.

He's making more money in the 250 class than he would in the 450 class. He has more chances at podiums and championships in the 250 class which equals to a lot of bonus money. Won his second 250 SX regional championship. He's already done really well this year with half the year still to go.

In the 450 class he'd get his salary and possibly some podium bonuses.

Smart move was to stay in the 250 class and defend the titles.

Make as much money as you can while you can in this sport.

And probably the fastest 250 rider in the world completely (current). Would take a brave man to bet against him at the moment. Phenomenal riding. Jeremy will have his days though I think.

Mav gets it. Should be no age limit in MX (or SX imo).

I don't really care that Osbourne is still in 250's, just seems like they pay 450 guys about double what they do the 250 guys. But Grant mentioned the team wanted him to stay back so that makes sense.

If he wins the title he will probably earn himself at least half a million dollars, I don't think he would make that in the 450 class.
