Taking market share from the smaller, more innovative, more core companies.
They copy and do not lead.
They will always be "budget" to me.
So how do you feel about Fox? Cause Fly is pretty damn core.

Have nothing but good experience with the guys at Fly and WPS. Started using their gear for snocross a few years ago and its all youll see on anyone, but we always use their gear for moto too. The kinetic line is durable and much cheaper than most brands. Wouldnt take any other brand over them!

Great of Fly to do this. My local track had the Fly bucks program, and it was sweet for my buddies. I have a set of Fly gloves that are 4 years old and still holding up.

JT$ I have question. I am a bigger guy 6'4" 330#. Now I understand all the gear manufactures do not sell alot 4xl jerseys and pants, so you can not justify making all the different colors in the large sizes. But damn on a 90 degree summer day I am already sweating like a pig and even more so out on the track. The last thing in the world I want to wear is black gear and soak up more heat. Could the gear company's not make blue 1 year, red another, then orange, and so on. Not just leave us fat guys stuck in the hottest color?

I wore nothing but fly gear from 2000 through 07 when I got hurt and stopped racing MX. I only had a problem with 1 set of gear, and that was probably 03 when my front panel of my race pants rilpped the 1st time in the washer. I talked to Fly, and they sent me a brand new set of pants without an issue. Other than that, I would race 25-35 weekends a year, and never ripped or destroyed a set of gear.

Jt$ why do company's never make clean gear? I mean look at the seven gear . It's super popular and they run very clean line gear. I personally steer clear of any brand that has those crazy wild colours. Fox are huge culprits of this.

This has a retail sound to it not dealer from WPS / Fly.

BTW ..... 100% LOVE my Fly gear ... including the gloves.

Fly is CORE. They started from nothing and built it up from there. The motocross gear industry is one of the most difficult to succeed in and they did it. WPS is nothing but grass roots core guys doing what they love, except for JT$ and he is just pissed because Matthes won't listen to him about bike setup being important.....but he'll get over it.

I hear you man. It really comes down to a numbers game. The black/gray is always a really high seller in any line because it goes with anything so they make the lower quantity sizes in the neutral color. I will look into it, though. You make a good point.

We do have some stuff like this and you will see a certain #41 running something you may be looking for here soon. Look up the Fly Universal jersey. It's new for 2015 but Trey is going to run it one of these weekends.

JT, are you involved with the MTB line at all or is that a completely separate group? Been thinking about giving the MTB stuff a try and was just curious if there are any new things coming down the pipe to keep an eye out for.

Couple years ago bought a helmet and loved it. Last year bought the black/hi-viz and loved it so much that I bought another two sets when it went on sale. Plus our rep for WPS rocks and never lets us down.

Not as much as moto side but it's still Fly so, sure. The MTB project is just getting off the ground so there will be a lot of new products coming. The stuff we have now is really good so far. The WPS national sales manager is a huge MTB guy so he is driving that side pretty hard and holding a high standard.

Sounds good. I'll keep an eye out for it. I will say that some of the BMX races I've gone to this year have been covered up with Fly gear. Definitely a good presence around here on the BMX side. Keep up the good work.

Yes, BMX is a very strong area for us. One of our salesmen here in the office is one of the best guys in the US.

I have never been a fan, but a couple years ago when we started racing BMX my kids team they were on it was the gear they wore. Most durable pants we have had in years, the only complaint I have on anything we have had is the black ops coat.....not the coat itself since it is my favorite fitting by far, the zippers are shit. went through 2 on mine it 4 months, and my daughters in 2 weeks. But I will say they stood behind them and took care of it no questions asked.....that is why we still deal with Fly. Stand up people and stand behind their product.

I won a free set of gear (everything but a helmet) by calling into the Fly Racing 60 Pulpmx (whatever they call it) show late last year. I've raced about 5 hare scrambles in it and it looks brand new still. My gear in the past would be looking a little worn by now. I have zero complaints and will be buying another set in the near future. Unless of course I can win another set somehow!

They support a shit ton of dudes, support Pulp, seem like a bunch of cool dudes (even Jt$), and make quality stuff. Works for me.

Fly had some solid white stuff a few years back, around 03-04ish? It was sick but a pain to keep clean ridding here in texas with this red clay

When I received my last set I noticed that Fly did some attention to detail things that make Fly gear fit better than other brands.

Ever have your start come untucked? Fly puts some barely noticeable thin silicone strips on the back of the shirt tail that make the shirt grip the pants ..... no coming untucked Smile

My daughters BMX team was sponsored by Fly when she raced, and they took good care of us all the time. One of the owners son was huge into bmx racing and he was always at the races. One time my daughter had a button on the inside of the helmet break and I asked him for a new button, he said "We can't have our riders have equipment like that. What color do you want?" Then he handed her a new helmet along with some new pants and a t shirt.

Top shelf company for sure, even though she stopped racing, I still buy their stuff.

I've got my hands on and used a number of their MTB items and they are all really good. There hasn't been anything I've used that I haven't liked. What stuff were you looking into? Or were you just wondering about future products?

Thank you JT$. Now a couple bigger sizes on the pants while you are at it. lol Moose pants are the only brand I can find that go big enough, size 52. Might squeeze into a 50 during the race season. Nothing against Moose, but a big guy riding around with Moose all over him gets kinda of corny. lol Plus it be cool to wear a rad brand like Fly.
