7/22/2021 12:01pm I was kidding before. The real reason is that he wanted to move closer to me again. I was 30 minutes away before, now I'm about 25 minutes away. That 5 minutes makes a big difference when I'm picking up and dropping off his bikes that I'm fixing.

7/22/2021 11:58am Someone said it earlier, Pookie wanted a new place. New place is nice, has a pool and some other upgrades. New studio is smaller and the layout isn't as good. Happy wife, happy life.

I think some racing is better than no racing. But if you ignore the names on the back of the jerseys it was like watching a "B" main. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it. And I can appreciate how much work it would have been to throw this together in two weeks but it wasn't "great racing" Imagine drinking from a puddle after a day of no water in the desert. It would seem amazing, but in reality it's really only enough to get you through.

Just to be clear, your $20 does not go to charity. That is to help cover the cost of the coverage if this event.

5/9/2020 8:55pm As far as racing the Ebike. Do they limit which level of assist you are allowed to run? How about “hacking” them so you don’t have the assist speed limited? Those 2 things would make a HUGE difference on how fast you can ride them.

It's not what you think, and it has nothing to do with "saving that cash." If you want to come and ride press day, you have to show up for the press functions and appointments, like morning talk shows or appearances, and not just show up when it's time to ride. It's damaging to all, the team as well as the series, when a top rider has an appointment with a live local news show and blows it off, because the chances of that station ever coming back and covering the event are pretty much out the window. There should not be any consideration given to any rider about Coronavirus if the series resumes. Just like they don't stop the racing for six weeks if someone breaks a bone, or allow a restart if someone's bike quits. When the races run, you must be ready.
